I bought this jacket specifically for a WWII Captain America cosplay, and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.The style is a great match for the WWII-era Captain America look, and the faux leather has a nice feel to it. While it's obviously not genuine leather, it doesn't feel cheap, and it's much lighter than a real leather jacket while still keeping me warm.One of my favorite features is the removable hood. I can unzip and remove it for a more screen-accurate cosplay appearance, then zip it back on when I just want the extra warmth for everyday wear. That flexibility makes it much more useful than a dedicated costume jacket.The fit, comfort, and overall quality exceeded my expectations, and it's become one of my favorite pieces for both conventions and casual use.If you're putting together a WWII Captain America costume or just want a comfortable bomber-style jacket with a removable hood, this is an excellent choice.

Really nice. Was an emergency purchase in early April 2026 in Chicago where it nippy. I was visiting for a conference. It saved my bacon. Everyone asked about it.

This jacket is a fantastic deal for everything it is, and the price. I followed the sizing chart provided on the product page and it fits great! I’m 5’9 and weigh a little over 185lbs, with a little bit of a dad bod. I ordered a medium and the fit is just like I wanted.The color isn’t quite as dark of a brown as the product picture made it out to be. I still like the color though. I can’t speak for the durability of the jacket yet, but it does feel a lot thicker and stronger than I expected! It’s also plenty warm.I like the fact that the hood is detachable. I think that was a smart move in their part. It looks okay but I probably won’t ever use it.The only reason I knocked off one star is because it will need to air out for a few days, probably, before it doesn’t have that “new faux leather jacket” smell anymore. 😂 It is a bit stinky and I’m glad I won’t need to wear it for a few days. If you needed to wear this in public as soon as it came in, that might be a problem.Overall I would definitely recommend this jacket. Just follow the sizing chart and know your measurements, and you should be good to go.
