SERENITY TEAK STEAMER CHAIR WITH CUSHION (GREEN) - Fully Assembled

We bought two, these are lovely, even better quality than I was hoping for. They are hardwood but we have put Cuprinol on the bottom of the legs as they are on grass and we want them to last a lifetime. One stool section is slightly wider so needs a wiggle to get into place but they are beautifully finished. Top tip is to give them a good wipe after unpacking to remove the sawdust, before it gets on the cushions - which are also good quality, comfortable and have ties in the right places. They arrived faster than the estimated time, which was a nice surprise, we got a phone call the day before to check that we would be in. I do hope the supplier’s claims about their manufacturer’s ethical sourcing credentials are true because that was a big consideration when making our choice.

All brass looking fixtures were found tarnished and a few water stains on one. Can see in picture. I did not realise from the description that the chairs did not have a finish and would wear much faster. Providing a single coat of outdoor furniture oil would have been sufficient. The chairs are well made as long as the fixtures hold up, I may need to replace them within a year. The wood is solid, but be aware, they are heavy. Two coats of teak oil and two more of varnish, they will last many years.

Just had my chair delivered and couldn't wait to try it. It came assembled - what a relief! So I was able to sit in it straight away even though the sun wasn't shining. It didn't disappoint: sturdy design, solid wood, good looking and above all comfortable! I've had many garden chairs over the years and this is by far the best purchase I've made. Now I have to wait for the Sun to make an appearance!

These chairs are very good, they are solid and comfortable and the cushions are water repellent, if I have any little quibbles they are:- 1.) I would teak oil the chairs before I left them exposed in the garden. 2.) Although the cushions do resist water I would not leave them on the chair when not being used as rain drops tend to sit on the surface and they may get water stained if left out. Overall I felt they were well worth the money.

All screws broken within months due to very cheap material. Metal fixtures all peeling. Wiu,d not recommend.

Wonderful. I love it, but I only got to use it twice this summer as the weather has been pretty poor - I blame myself for buying a beautiful steamer chair. Very comfy indeed; sturdy and well-made. Gave it a couple of coats of teak protector from the local DIY shop rather than the expensive stuff and it looks great.

A really beautiful chair made of natural teak to a very high standard and with brass fittings. The green cushion is very thick and comfortable and the bottom of both detatches so it can be used as a chair. Very good communication from the company regarding delivery which was within 6 days of ordering. Well packaged and a very nice delivery man who unpacked the chair and showed me how it fitted together and ensured the item was satisfactory. It's a shame the company do not sell the covers to go with the chair as it needs to be breathable. Overall very happy with purchase.

Looks nice with very comfortable cushion and solid wood but the footstool falls off all the time and two of the screw heads have fallen off and are lost after I started using it.
