The colors are bright and it was very easy to put together despite no instructions (I think it was just missing in my package). The pouch is very useful when done for the day at the park/beach, making tucking this kite in with everything else very easy and worry free.The poles are just flexible enough for fitting tightly together yet not an issue to take apart when done, the connectors actually some kind of metal instead of a plastic. I'm happy to say it has continued to be strong enough to withstand quite a number of nose dives and crashes and quite a number of adventures to parks, beaches, and other travels!The actual kite material seemed a bit thin but it is tightly woven nylon and has withstood numerous crash landings and even one tree venture! Very impressed with that.The size surprised us - very generous and plenty of area for catching the wind and maintaining lift! Once we got this up, it STAYED up! Also, it didn't take much of a wind to get it up, either! The included twine was a nice touch! We did wind up replacing that with a nylon based kite "string" in case we came into strong winds at the beach.Lots of admirers and after two months we are still using this kite!

This is a great kite to start a kid with. It can take a pretty good amount of crashes with an 8 year old learning.If you have a youngster this would be a perfect introduction until they are ready for the trick kites!Would recommend as a starter kite

Great for keeping the kids entertained. Pretty easy to get up and keep up in the Central Texas wind. Impressed with the quality.

My husband and I love to fly this kite! It takes off and flies easily. Simple and straightforward to assemble. I like the storage pouch as well - most kites do not come with a storage pouch. With that being said, there are things about this kite that can be improved upon. The quality of the kite itself is good and the long tail enables the kite to maneuver better and provides proper balance from tip to tail. Pole pockets are nicely reinforced. The kite string should be of stronger tensile strength because while getting caught in a few wind gusts here and there, the string broke a couple of times and had to be reattached (ended up buying a stronger kite string). The kite poles need to be a little more rigid to handle the wind and not remain bent after flying. Keep in mind you should not fly a kite in wind gusts of more than 15mph (unless it is heavy duty material) because you can lose your kite in the process if not heavily reinforced. A beach or park kite for sure. Watch out for power lines!

This is a fun kite to just throw in the trunk for that trip to the beach. It takes nothing to get it set up and flying. I will probably upgrade the string setup at some point but that's just me; it's just fine right out of the box. I highly (get it?) recommend getting this kite!!!

This kite gets the job done and flies well. Take good care of it though because any nose dives or heavy use, I question the durability and longevity of the item

I got this as a gift for someone and did assemble the kite but haven't had the chance to try flying it yet. Assembly of the kite was easy, just pop the rods into the fittings. And it comes apart as easily. The rainbow colors are bright, vibrant, and the kite is pretty. The material is rip-stop nylon and should be very durable. Comes with string, holder, and carrying bag.

I picked this up because my kid liked the design and wanted a kite to fly at parks and the beach. There was no assembly required, and the design looks great in person. We have a small backyard, but were able to get it flying pretty easily with minimal running space. Can't wait to bring this to the beach!
