At first I was very happy with the ease of slipping these on in all the dozens of places I needed them. And the drill tool fastened them very quick & nicely. They fasten the fence to the post very securely. HOWEVER, what in the world do you do with that dangerous nubbin that sticks out at least an inch? Not good for people running a hand along the rail, but especially dangerous for kids & pets cutting themselves. Also, the 2 loose ends that it leaves either fall in the grass below, or are not real easy to snap off. The nubbin does not bend over flat against the post very easily or completely. So it all ends up taking much more time & effort than simply using the easy-to-bend straight ties that come with "line post kits". The straight ties are hard to tie with gloves on, so I wrap tape on my thumb tips for that part of the project.

I redeemer 1 5/8 EZ Twist for my 1 5/8 fence posts. They were too short and the tail of the tie were not long enough to catch and twist in the tool
