desertcart.com: 6 Jungle Val - Jungle Vallisneria Live Aquarium Freshwater Plants : Pet Supplies Review: Very pleased - I received these 11 days ago. They melted, which from what I've found is normal for vals, but they all have beautiful new growth now and one even has a runner. Haven't noticed any snails or other pests either. Update: I have found pest snails, but I also bought plants from another source, so not saying they came from here. Review: baby fish survived - spared the baby fish, they could hide adequately

No, just don’t waste your money.
Honestly I won’t be repurchasing, plants are half dead, browning already meanwhile my other plants that arrived in the same box same day are perfect and not brown at all. Shape is extremely cut down and nothing like the picture, shipping was long for live plants, I don’t even want this anywhere near my fish tank or to even smell it out of terror and fear. In this photo, you can see the quality difference, both ordered and shipped the same day, both arrived today and sat in a box in my kitchen the same amount of time, weird difference no?

Good product/Bad delivery method
Arrived in a plastic bag in a box (non-insulated), 6 very healthy, green, 8inch starts. My only issue is the delivery, the moisture in the bag had turned into a slushy which tells me they weren't stored at a proper temperature. Got them in the aquarium warming up. Hoping USPS didn't kill them. If I could reorder at a later/warmer date I would.

Not bad
I received my Jungle Val today, luckily it came a day early then expected and I'm so glad because some of the plants looked like they were starting to wilt. I did remove 2 dead leaves but in the tank light you can tell they were effected by the cold. Over all I'm happy, I washed and slowly added to my tanks temp so I wouldn't damage the plants and also added root tabs. I did received 6 in total, one was very large and had new growth coming in. I'll update after 30 days. UPDATE MARCH 22- so far all plants have taken off and one sprouted 4 babies that I planted in the back. Color came back and they look beautiful! Very happy with my purchase. Please see last 3 pictures for updates. J VAL are in the back.

Not So Sure Yet (Updated)
UPDATE: It has now been two weeks since they arrived. They have faired really well. They did not melt back, and I haven’t had any die off. They are still green, and I expect to see some growth soon (have been battling the brown algae for a while). I have to say this was a good purchase. Very pleased with the plants. Keep in mind that the factors of one’s situation (and location) will vary greatly from another. This is just my initial thoughts from my first experience with this seller/purchase. As always, take any info with discernment. I have just received the plants today; and first I would suggest the seller ship priority mail rather than first class, for the post office took a week to get them to me (not blaming the seller for this; just a thought). I, however, was a little surprised by how small the box was; therefore small plants. I did have to remove some dead leaves (expected). Even though they were in a plastic bag with no water, they were wet. The tips look a bit ragged, and they have just 3 or 4 stems. However, knowing how it goes with live plants, they will take time to adjust and grow. Crossing my fingers they adjust fine, and will try to update my review in a few weeks (if possible). I do think they were packed fine. I have to admit, their color looks better in water rather than out of the water.

Got a teeny tiny amount of plant, mostly half dead
Honestly it wasn't worth buying because now that it's in my tank it's barely alive. It arrived. Half dead. Most of the leaves were shredded and only a few hanging on. I still put it in my tank and I'm hoping tiny little bit that I actually was able to save will grow. I'm not super hopeful but we shall say. One can hope.
