Longest cold time out there, but still could use some improvement
After 10 different other packs on Amazon these are the best I've found. I have bought these so many times over the years. right now I have 5. 3xT shaped and two medium. also two spares un frozen for replacements, The sleeves always go first and are low quality but I also like to tighten them pretty good. Also in general they will leak if you dont follow the directions or get a bad one and they generally will leak after a couple years of weekly use in my experience. They key things is to not flex the plastic when they are right outta of the freezer when the plastic is most brittle to avoid leaks. they say wait 30mins if you read the directions (i did by coincidence years later...lol). and they will still be just as cold just a bit annoying to wait. you can get away with it if you use them flat or you bend them in reverse and dont force them to curve until they thaw a little however. I found out the hard way after trying to use them on my knees I would try to force them to curve right outta the fridge and they would leak. but exact same type on my back would last forever because it was flat, go figure. I also had one had a small hole from shipping i suspect but Amazon replaced it. to be honest i still use em after all the gel liquid leaks out anyway and they still work relatively well with just the "cubes" as they are separated. Im a warm body and the bigger packs last longer obviously but I get about 1h30m mins iced time and another 30 mins cold time. Best time results I've found for years now. Ice feels great to get to sleep but body temp by morning. I'm a big guy and can lay on them cautiously and no issues other than what I've already said. I do wish they offered a 1×4 square long model to wrap all the way around my knee but I make do with two mediums for now.

Not 8 hours/ 2 sections leaking less than a month after purchase.
Feels great on my shoulder. Great pain relief. But no way it lasts 8 hours as advertised, maybe 3 tops. Edit! I use this on top of my shoulder while laying on my side at night. One night when it was no longer frozen, I put it on the other side of the bed. The next morning there was staining on the white sheet, on the mattress cover and on the foam bed cushion. The seam was split on one of the bags. I drained any remaining liquid & figured it would still work because the baffles can still freeze. 2 days later, a seam split on another one. Really not happy about this.

This T-Shaped Cold Compression Is A Beast
It is very good for knee replacement recovery. The longer end goes at the top while the shorter end goes below the knee. It does stay cold for at least two hours.

Stays cold but leaks
It definitely stays cold for at least 8hrs. Buuuut it started leaking after freezing it about 10 times. Now I get why others have said to put it on recurring order… it’s fragile. Hopefully the company uses another type of material so it doesn’t leak.

Stays cold, but T shape has underwhelming cover
The cold pack does stay cold for a long time, not 8 hours, but probably half that so much better than the gel packs which you're lucky to get 20mins out of. The cover that comes with the T-shaped pack is ridiculous, though. The velcro straps are far too short to comfortably strap in the shoulder position advertised. My husband has a grade 5 ac joint separation (clavicle/collar bone) and the regular gel compress wasn't cutting it. We decided on this one, even though it's almost thirty dollars, because we were hoping it could strap on and stay on for a while. My husband has a BMI of about 22 (significantly less than the average in the USA), he wears medium shorts and large t-shirts. If the elastic strap is too tight on him, I can't imagine it being usable on the majority. 3 stars because it stays cold. 1 deducted for the underwhelming cover, and another for the seemingly thin plastic the cold compress is made out of. Hopefully he heals before it inevitably breaks. It isn't very flexible or comfortable, but it is cold for much longer than average. I think, for the quality, it is at least $5 too expensive.
