I am always cold, so this has been such an easy thing to keep nearby on the bed or the couch. The ribbed flannel is soft and cozy, and it warms up quickly without feeling complicated to use. I like having different heat levels depending on the time of day, and the size works well for one person. It has been easy to use daily and has fit into my routine without any issues.

Pros: the coil to blanket ratio is really generous/fair. The colored side stays really soft even after washing. and the different heat settings get really hot, i almost always only use 1-4 of the settings. the material and use seems to keep up pretty well. Con: after being on for hours sometimes the blanket gets cooler than when you first turned it on. This is bound to happen though, so i just turn it up one and it gets hot again. This is my 4th Bedsure heated blanket. I bought my first last year and it still cranks, I use it everyday as we have a big drafty house and a heating pad is too small. I got tired of moving it from my work area to the bed so i bought one for our bedroom and another for the guest room. This one is for my partners lap. Having a heated blanket is a huge plus where I live.

OMGosh. For a variety of reasons, I must keep my living room cool in the winter, with the result that, no matter how warmly I dressed, I often ended up uncomfortably cold in the evenings. So I decided to order this Bedsure GentleSoft Electric Blanket in the twin size, 62" x 84", rather than just ordering the electric throw (50" x 60"). The blanket arrived tonight, and immediately after unpacking it, I plugged it in and ohmygosh - it's HEAVEN. It's soft and warm, and the twin size is perfect for keeping me warm as I'm sitting on the couch. As others have noted, it has a great range of settings. The fabric, although lightweight, is incredibly soft, and the heat distribution is even, which makes this blanket perfect to curl up under. Over the years, I've used a number of different heated throws and blankets, all of which I've eventually discarded. I think this one is a keeper.

Love this blanket! For someone who is always cold, this blanket helps me get through winter in Wisconsin. It is very soft, even with cords running through it. It heats up fast and comes with a timer that you can set and have it turn off in 30!min increments which is nice if you are one to fall asleep with leaving it plugged in.

I drive an EV and live in Michigan. As such, winters are something you absolutely need to plan for, efficiency-wise. My car’s resistive heater uses 8kW (8000 Watts) to warm the cabin. These things use 100W to warm just the body under it. Hence, I promptly purchased two of these heated blankets to cover the wife and kid. Selectable heat settings allow the user to choose their own adventure. Soft fabric makes them comfy, while the size and weight make them easy to just leave them tossed in the back seat full time. I haven’t washed them yet, but they have lasted two seasons without degrading at all.

I titled this 50/50 because you need to take the word "WARMING" seriously! I gave this blanket 3 stars & a title of 50/50 because the blanket itself is thick, good quality, super soft, and warm by itself. However, I believe your purpose for the blanket greatly determines whether or not you'll be satisfied with the purchase. If you are looking for a heated blanket closer to what you find with a heating pad, this is NOT the blanket for you! I've owned many heating pads and electric blankets of various sizes from throw to king over the years This blanket has the LOWEST amount of heat that I have ever owned. I bought the throw size for staying warm on the couch, and I am disappointed... not enough to hassle with returning it, but I would have chosen differently had I known. I did read reviews & saw that some mentioned the blanket only being warm. I wish I had understood that better, so I hope this review is helpful. At the highest setting, after warming up, I would say the blanket only gets as WARM as the very lowest setting on a heating pad. It's also important to understand that it only gets warm in places where you have some pressure, not the entire blanket, so as a throw, it's a very uneven heat. I noticed some reviews mentioned it works better with another blanket (weight) on top, and I do absolutely agree with that statement. Keep that in mind if you plan to use it as a throw on the couch as I am. Also, the blanket only gets warm with direct pressure. The parts of the blanket that are just draped around you are noticeably cooler than the parts that are snug on your body or where you have weight like your arms. It's a very uneven heat which I've never experienced with other heated blankets. I've found that if I 1st sit on the blanket a few minutes and then get under that area, it helps, but this is a work-around to a problem. So al-in-all, it is NOT an ideal heated throw. However, I do believe I MIGHT find the blanket lovely and rate it 5 stars if i had gotten the king size and used the blanket between the sheets & a top comforter on the bed, but that is speculation. So consider your purpose & location. Lastly, as others mentioned, the user manual makes a point of telling you right off the bat that it has "restricted" heat for safety standards. In my opinion, it's the manufacturer's way of saying, not to contact them to complain that the blanket doesn't get hot, because they purposely made sure it wouldn't get hot. You will also find customer service is rather an illusion. There is NO phone number to contact customer service, just a QR code & website. Although I did not delve deep into contacting them as the blanket is technically functioning as described.
