Pioneer Camp Men's Lightweight Packable Puffer Jacket Insulated Winter Coat

Very lightweight, comfortable, wind resistant, and compactable. Made of good quality polyester material and construction. Medium size true to fit. Versatile for three season wear. Nice styling and sewn in padded hood. Four large pockets, but would be better with a zippered chest pocket. Durability is unknown for now; does not appear to be rip-stop fabric. Had to return for replacement. This was likely a previously used/returned item, due to missing storage pouch, stuff sack, products tags, and strong odor of last wearer's perfume. Still recommend, but check to ensure your jacket is new, if you are paying for new. Good value when marked down. (Updated Feb 2026, in use since Oct 2026, nice and warm under a windbreaker, so increased to 5 stars. But better to wear under a winterparka when temperatures drop below 32 degrees, as during the recent three weeks of freezing snow and ice).

this is pretty nice. So... I got it because it was recommended by other backpackers as a great way to stay comfy at night before you put on your duds and climb into bed. it is warm. I mean warm. So what you wanna do is throw this on UNDER a long sleeve shirt so taht the shirt acts like a softshell/windbreak (if there is wind) and it will have you feeling like you're the fire and the firepit is getting jealous, ya know? It is good. It's light weight and it fits very nicely in the stuff sack. Though - don't leave it in the stuff sack all the time. hang it up and put it in the closet so it retains loft when you're not using it, the stuff sack can be put in the pocket for later. Also. Stylish

This is an amazing jacket for $50 plus bucks! I was skeptical after opening and viewing it. But seriously, as a seasoned mountaineer looking for an inexpensive light jacket for work, this is the bees knees! 35f and above with 20 plus an hour northwest winds, all you need is a good base layer. Definitely wind proof. Temp below 35, you might want to consider a mid layer if your not actively moving around alot. The details, draw strings on the hood and waist, extra hood covering, I would match this against my Patogonia or Arcteryx jackets for 5 times the cost! I am 5"11 reg, 190#, get a large, saves room for a mid layer. Way to go Pioneer!!

Best coat, literally I just can’t believe it. My wife has one and I made fun of her because she wears it non stop. We had a trip to London a couple months ago and I needed a light weight winter jacket that was waterproof I liked the fact that it packs up very small and it would take up little room in my carry on. So I took a chance, man am I glad I did. It was amazing in those windy rain filled days traveling around England and we just had 2 weeks of 10 to 18 degrees with snow rain sleet and freezing rain and with a hoodie on underneath in that temp I never got cold. Unreal. Just buy it!!!

Purchased this for something easy to compress for packing and traveling abroad. It works great ans helps to keep me plenty warm for mild cold temps and packs up perfect for travel. The sizing was perfect for me. I was impressed with the number and size of the inside pockets as well. I recommend this jacket as it performs well ans does what it should.

We live in Florida, and my wife bought one of these when we were going to a cold weather city winter of 2024. I boguht one, and I was shocked at how reasonably priced it was for what I got. I was also shocked that it could smush up into a very small bag (it came with the bag), but most importantly, it was very warm. I used it in Iowa when it was a wind chill of 12 and Chicago with a wind chill of 10. The coat kept me completely warm, and it has a hood. The best part is that it takes up almost zero room in my suitcase. I wish I would have bought one years ago.

Bought this for my husband, he loves it. Brags about it being so very lite, you barely know you have it on. Also, very warm. Good buy for the money.
