Just buy it! Works great!
First Iโm not some influencer nor did I get any discounts or anything like that, just a real person giving a real review. I LOVE this product; phenomenal price, durable quality, easy to use and works exactly as described. My wife and I have never used a product like this but we found it simple enough to use and put on the car. I was extremely worried about it not holding and coming off but we took it on a 15 hour trip, 13ish hours in pouring rain and it didnโt budge at all AND everything inside was dry as a bone when we arrived. A few days later we did the trip again and same thing, and putting it on the 2nd time was very quick. Hardest part is figuring out how to pack the things inside so that itโs pretty level, I will say after packing it with hard sided suitcases that I think duffle bags would likely work better. Definitely a great investment if you are on the fence just buy it and try it out! I will say that the only downside is pulling the loose straps tight enough to Velcro them that they donโt make any noise, I plan to buy small binder clips for future use and clip the excess. The other thing I bought off amazon for peace of mind is a small mirror that sticks on to the side mirror this allowed me to tilt it toward the roof and keep an eye on the cargo bag and that worked well and was around $10 and did as expected.

Great roof top cargo bag! Even with no rack.
Great product! I admit I was skeptical. We were on vacation w an already packed car. My family shopped til they dropped and we didnโt have enough room for all of us plus their treasures. So I ordered this to be delivered to our vacation rental. Arrived quickly w overnight shipping. I dont have a roof rack so I was extra afraid of a product like this that proclaimed to attach to the car frame without a rack. Well it came through like a champ. Great design. Nice tough material, kind of a heavy rubber, w nice strong zipper on 3 sides. Tightly Velcroโd flaps to keep rain out. All worked as designed. The straps are affixed well and the buckles while plastic are tough and held up. The hooks that loop through the buckles and straps, affix to the frame, in up to 6 places. I did 6 points. I was worried because you have to pull back the seal around the car doors to access the frame that it hooks on, but on my car, a Ford Escape, the seal snapped right back on over the hook. Then cinched the straps and buckles. It held very tight and sustained a 400 mile trip on an interstate across the plains. Very windy conditions. First half of the trip we tested it to 80mph. Second half of the trip was my daughter at the wheel and letโs just say it tests to a significant amount of speed beyond that (much to my dismay and horror) It caught a lot of bugs on the way. I took it to self spray car wash and used the power wash on it. It was squeaky clean, dried nicely and held its shape. Recommend!

Easy to use, waterproof, easy to store
This product was fantastic. Last minute before our trip I had to take a much smaller car for our family of 5. I ordered this and it came in 2 days. The car I used didn't have a rack but it was easy to attach to the inner door frame and it held 5+ medium suitcases along with some other random things. I was able to install and load it by myself and it even came with a rubber mat to protect the roof. It was super secure and I never was worried about it going anywhere. We also got to test out the waterproof feature and all of our stuff was dry as a bone. Very happy with this purchase and because it's soft it was easy to fold up and store for future use without taking up a ton of space.

Carrier is of great quality and easy to use!
We just took our first trip from Greensboro, NC. to Orlando, Fl. I was concerned that the carrier would make noise, to the contrary it was very quiet and worked perfectly for our family and pets. It fit perfectly on my 2019 Chevrolet Suburban, I did convert 4 of the door straps to be attached to the side rails but it worked well. The only issue I have is the lock that came with the carrier is junk, it broke immediately trying to set up the combination.

Overcame many extremes in one trip
Utilized this product over the last week for a road trip to and from Denver to Moab. We piled four guys in my 100 series land cruiser and utilized this in holding 4x filled large duffel bags (2x 120L, and 2x 90L) 1x Filled 60L backpack, 1x overhead suitcase, and 4x folding style camping chairs. Yes- it was a black hole for stuff. It was easy to throw up there and for the most part load- zipping it up would not have been a problem if I was not maxing it out on my own accord. The strapping down was straight forward, very secure, and made no noticeable noise when up there. The velcro lashing are a nice touch for keeping the straps from flapping. Key things: > The trip saw all the elements- heavy rain, snow, hail, headwinds, crosswinds, sun, heat- You name it we saw it and this held up no problem. No leaks, no holes, no issues with build up or anything weird during or travel. In summary- I did not need to stop or pull over because of this cargo carrier. > It does lack the sleek look and overall security of a hard cargo carrier like Thule and Yakima, but is 1000x more friendly to use. Examples- When on the trip and at the destination it takes 5 mins and no tools to remove, fold, and put in the storage bag till needed again. At home I don't have to setup a place for where to put the thing, and I just have it on the shelf. You don't need cross bars, rack, or side rails- The door sill attachments were not used by me on this trip, but will be used on my Wagoneer and would fully trust. >Did MPG suffer? It was not as bad as I thought... We had the vehicle loaded, saw plenty of passes, weather events, and tacked on miles in a vehicle that's plenty thirsty with my heavier foot, and saw an average of 1-2 MPG drop. It was comparable to my ski trips. >No damage to the vehicle- Have common sense what you keep up there though- it is not padded so strapping down non-conformable things might have issues. Overall, its well worth the $.

DO NOT BUY THIS UNTIL YOU READ WHAT HAPPENED TO ME
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNTIL YOU READ BELOW. I do not normally write a review on products but this I feel can save someone else from a large disaster. So I drove from Boston, MA to El Paso, TX with the Asinking Car Roof Bag Rooftop Cargo Carrier. I had searched all over Amazon for options and this one stood out for its size, as well as it being Waterproof (not water resistant - this is important). On my nearly 3,000 mile drive over 6 days I drove through 1 rain storm for about 50 miles and it took about an hour. This was on the second to last day. After arriving in El Paso, TX I pulled up to my brothers and after relaxing we went out to take the Rooftop bag off. Inside of it I had packed my camping sleeping bags, tents (no points or anything sharp) and nearly all of my clothes. I did put my clothes in bag just to be safe. When we were lifting it off, the Rooftop bag was INSANELY heavy. Mind you I did not fill it completely it was like 75% full. I opened the bag while on my roof and it was FULL of water. Like 4 inches of water just inside. I lost about 50% of my clothing, and 4 pairs of dress shoes. The rooftop bag was closed correctly, and the orange flap covered the zipper completely on my drive. I stopped every 3ish hours to let my dog run around and made it a habit to check on the seal. Lock never moved, and worked fine. But my clothing is destroyed. As you can see from the picture, this is the remaining standing water after we were able to remove it from the top of my car. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF THERE IS A CHANCE OF DRIVING THRU RAIN.

Complete instructions included for easy installation
My son needed a carrier for his suv and he said it was perfect! It held so much stuff and all the accessories worked like a charm. Easy to assemble on his car and didnโt effect driving.
