Comfort, Lightweight, Breathable, Good Grip Honestly, I can’t say enough about these shoes and I’m so glad I bought them. For the $40 price, you’d think it’d come in better packaging but I can easily overlook that since I don’t keep my shoe boxes and I never want to take them off. For reference, I’m 5ft. and seem to have stop growing in 4th grade which includes my little hobbit feet. So finding these, was a blessing. The toe box is roomy, their light and could cover any casual wear/athletic venture. Plus I love the canvas material, however you might want to invest in a shoe protectant because of it. I live in the woods and my dirt driveway has not been kind to them. I’m usually a 6 or 6 1/2 in women’s but I was able to order these in a 5.5 (size 36). My toes are closer to the front but still not touching it all the way but, I had to be mindful of keeping shorter toe nails because when mine grew out I debated if I made the right choice in size, I DID SO NO WORRIES. I wish the brand considered ambassadors cause I’ve been ranting and raving about these little guys. Oh, and that they came in more colors!

Shoes have been a game changer for me! I’m diabetic and have balance issues due to neuropathy. When walking on uneven surfaces (the yard) I would loose my balance. With these shoes on I’m more aware of the surface area. Enough cushioning for comfort. Wide with is perfect. I first bought the cream color loved them, easy to clean and air dry. Then ordered the gray, they do not show the smudges from driving and use. I plan on buying another style suitable for winter. Size was right on for me.

EDIT- I've had them for a year now and they've survived several cleaning attempts, the tread is still in good shape, and my feet have adjusted to barefoot shoes a while ago. These are definitely the most comfy shoes I have. It's like not wearing shoes at all. I would not wear them for a run or a hike (lol) but for everyday wear they're my go to in the warmer half of the year! I have another Whitin style in black for the cool half. ***** Original review: I like the style. They look like Spl@y knockoffs, and more interesting on the foot than the other casual sneaker styles of Whitins that look like plain blobs when worn in white. They are very flexible and offer ample toe space side to side. I am barefoot at home most of the time and do yoga daily and am able to move my toes and feet almost as freely as if I was barefoot. Minimal padding which is to be expected. I will be buying Northsole insoles to help with this as I'm on pavement a lot (they are not on Amazon). Grippy soles with good tread. They squeak on linoleum sometimes. Mine had cosmetic stitching defects on the toe cap stitching - one was rounder than the other. READ THE SIZING CHART CAREFULLY. You will likely want to go half a size up otherwise your toes will rub against the ends. I am returning them for a 9.5 instead of a 9. Honestly I thought I was going to hate them despite my desire for them. They made my heels sore standing around in my home, but I used them on a walk today and then chased after my daughter at the playground and had no issues at all. In fact I brought my other white sneakers, flexible yet narrow R33bok Pr1ncess, to do a side by side comparison and it was noticeable how much more space I have in these. I had to take the R33bok off and put these back on. Wore them to the store for a weeks worth of shopping and toddler drama too. At the end of my time out with these today my arches were sore similar to if I had begun a running program and wasn't used to it. But I had no other pain and the foot fatigue subsided in about 10 minutes after going fully barefoot - usually shoe induced foot pain lasts me days and extends throughout my body. Soooo other than the sizing issue I guess I'm keeping these! With special insoles added of course.

I have several pairs of the Whitin barefoot shoes. The canvas ones fit really well and the size is just right. Plus, they are super cute!

This is my second pair of whitins, but my first pair in this style. Pros: this style runs slightly larger than their more basic cotton canvas shoe, which is a huge advantage because I wear an 8.5, which falls right in between two sizes for this brand. My feet are not wide, so I opted to size down in the basic style, and that was *just* a little cramped for my big toe - which meant the next size up was going to feel really loose. This style, presumably because of its slightly different construction, has a little more room in the toe, letting me size down comfortably. Color-specific con: the light beige is much more of an off-white/yellow than it is a tan/beige. It doesn't not-suit my skin tone, so I kept them and sprayed on some camp dry, but even with that precaution they get HELLA dirty like white shoes do (tan/beige colored shoes generally fare better, and that's what I'd been expecting from the product photos). My primary complaint, and it's a biggie: they have placed a vinyl materials/sizing sticker on the underside of the tongue, right up near the ankle where it will rub your skin and cause irritation/blisters if you wear no-show style socks (something of a given for this style). (See photos.) They did this in the basic canvas style as well, but the stickers pulled free from the bare canvas easily. In this style, they have added cushion to the underside of the tongue, which, in theory, is great, but now the sticker doesn't pull free - when you attempt to get it off, it delaminates, still leaving an irritating vinyl adhesive layer behind. This issue makes the shoe essentially unwearable. Next, I'm going to try to use a blow dryer to soften the adhesive with heat, see if I can get it to pull away, but I'm going to need to be careful with the heat as the lining seems very synthetic, so I'm skeptical of it working very well. This sticker could've gone literally anywhere else inside the shoe and not presented a problem - what were they thinking?? 🤦‍♀️

I actually enjoy these more than my 140$ onclouds. I’m very picky about my shoes and as a lifter I need something I can spread my toes in. This is exactly that. It’s roomy, breathable, light and comfortable enough for me to stand in for my 10hr shifts at the hospital. They aren’t super cute in my opinion but for functionality it’s worth the price. They have great traction and are pretty good quality for the price. The material isn’t super thick and honestly my biggest complaint is that since the top is only fabric it’s hard to just slip on without the back end giving a little trouble but that’s a small price to pay for the comfort.

I was excited to try my first barefoot, zero drop sneakers. Anya's Reviews and Reddit suggested Whitin for affordable and first pair barefoot shoes. I had sandal slip ons in the past, so I was excited to try a new pair of shoes from Whitin. They came with some sort of market or dye stains on them, plus dirt like they had been worn. That was my main reason for returning them. They are really cheap quality which wasn't a huge surprise since it is Amazon sneakers. You get what you pay for! But the marker, dirt, dye stain was really weird. Fit wise, I would suggest sizing up depending on the thickness of the socks you will wear with these. I had on really thin toe socks with these and these felt just as restrictive as regular shoes. The expanded toe box helped a little, but the rest of the shoe didn't feel flat, wide foot accommodating and narrow like the rest of shoes. These are zero drop I think? They have a bit of thickness compared to standard zero drop, barefoot sneakers but you could probably take out the soles if you wanted to. There is zero arch support since they are zero drop, barefoot shoes. These honestly look really cheap and you can do better for the price point for a pair of actual barefoot, wide toe box, and zero drop shoes. Like, way better.

I am a RBKA (right below knee amputee) and it hard to find shoes that fit well around my prosthetic foot because even though they are “suppose” to be the same size as your foot, the definitely are not, lol. But these are comfortably wide enough for my prosthetic foot and still comfortable for my left foot. And with it being stretchy, it’s a little easier to get on my prosthetic then normal shoes.

La calidad es buena, son cómodos y suaves, son muy ligeramente resistentes al agua (osea unas gotitas no se sienten). Como recomendación chequen bien su talla, midan bien sus pies para pedir la correcta y chequen la guía de tallas que trae en una tarjetita de la marca. Los super recomiendo, llegan en el tiempo establecido. Obviamente son anchos del frente y al principio es raro verlos por la estética, sin embargo, si son bonitos. Son regularmente fáciles de limpiar. Realmente los recomiendo para hacer la transición de calzado.

I have a lot of barefoot shoes and I like them all but these are a pair of my favourites. Nice wide toe box without looking ridiculous. Thin and flexible soles so you can feel the ground you’re walking on. They’re just a nice looking shoe. I did find that they run slightly small and if I were to buy another pair (which I will!) I would go with a half size bigger.

Estoy empezando mi transición a zapatos tipo barefoot y decidí empezar con unos qué no me costaran tanto y no me doliera tanto si no me acomodaba. La verdad, quede muy gratamente sorprendida, me encantan. Son de buena calidad, cómodos y muy bonitos!
