These are by far the best sounding headphones I have ever used. They have the best microphone for calls and noise cancellation. They also have fantastic noise reduction for online calls in noisy environments. I use them in fabrication clean room environment and no one has trouble hearing me or hearing too much background noise. They are comfortable, connect easily to laptop/phone, and are intuitive to use. They are expensive but they are worth it in my opinion. For reference I’ve used the Sony wf1000xm4 ear buds, Sony wh1000xm4 over ear (these has a mic issue develop after 5 years which is why I bought a new one), bose quiet comfort, bose sport ear buds, jabra elite. Bose quiet comforts sound good but had bad background noise isolation. You can hear everything except the person who’s talking.

My most important criteria when picking these was the noice cancellation. I have a pair of WF-1000XM5 ear buds that I love, but I found I can only wear any ear buds for a few hours before they become uncomfortable. As expected, the noise cancellation on the headphone version is excellent. These headphones are often rated among the very best for that feature. The music sounds great, but my personal use is not really focused on sound quality.

This was a very pleasant experience. I bought this after extensive research. Most audiophile review websites had this as one of the top 2 (the other contender being the Bose QuietComfort Ultra). Things I particularly liked: -- Easy Bluetooth pairing [tested with Android and Mac] -- Very comfortable (hugs ears nicely; lightweight) -- Noise cancelling button works well (switching is very seamless. Unlike most other headphones, there was no lag or uncomfortable sound changes)

They're good headphones. But for $330, they should be great headphones. Pros: sound quality, comfortable, battery life, noise cancellation Cons: many of the features don't work well and I had to turn them off. The mobile app sucks. I bought these to simply having these connected to 5 devices and be smart enough to seamlessly switch to the right one, but it's wrong as often as not so it's useless for this. Sometimes my headphones just randomly turn off while I'm listening to them.

Best Headphones I have ever owned!! Superior Noise Cancellation and Comfort for HOURS! Battery life is also incredible. HIGHLY recommend and very much worth the investment.

Everything you read/hear about these headphones is true. Great sound quality, high highs, low lows, and very clear. The noise canceling is superb. I can't even hear the engine in a car while riding in it. I have one complaint, and it's not worth a star deduction, but it may be an important caveat for other buyers. The headphones on default configuration sound okay, but you really need to set them up with the Sony headphone app to get the full effect. The problem is there is no equivalent for it available on Windows currently. So if you buy these with an aim to connect to your computer or TV you're going to need to use the dual connectivity feature and have them connected to a phone with the app running at the same time to get maximum effect.

Best sound quality Ive heard. Easily connects via bluetooth. Worth the money when on Prime sale.

I have used these for less than a year and always taken good care of them. I took them out of the case this morning like usual and the plastic around the joint on the left earphone broke. Sony used to be known for quality made products but this is seriously making me think twice about the brand. Apparently the limited warranty doesn't cover "Accidental physical damage" and so they want $99 for the repair. My last pair of Bose headphones lasted 5 years before issues like this started to happen.

XM3からゼンハイザーを経てXM5に戻りました。XM6が発売されて価格落ちで購入。XM3はヘッドバンド部分の破損が早々にあり残念でした。久々のソニーですが、音質と装着感が進化していて、ここは期待通り。当面破損の心配のなさそうな構造です。ふわっと軽く、長時間使用でもストレスがありません。どんなジャンルでも耳に負担のない高低音のバランスの良さはソニーの強みですね。ただ、音質にこだわりがあるなら他社が良いかもしれません。それ以外なら十分でしょう。 ノイキャンも申し分ないです。見た目マットで高級感があり、おしゃれ。折り畳みはできません。軽いので外でも問題なく使えます。

Owned a WH-1000XM2 and I thought it was the best ever. This headphones was even better and more comfortable! Sound equality is also top notch! I toned down the bass a little as I prefer more lounge type.

I used to use a MDR-1ABT, but I could not use it for long periods as it was too heavy. This pair is far lighter,sounds great and the ANC works wonderfully. I can use it for extended periods of time without it feeling heavy on my head.
