Does this leave fingerprints and smudges? What about when in the pocket does it grab all lint?

I don’t have finger prints on mine. It does not grab the lint from my pocket either. It does grip to the inside of my pocket though and so far my phone has stayed in my pocket. I hope this answers your question.
