I used it while camping off a 12 volt pump. It gets WAY hotter than you can stand in on max. I was runnin it like a quarter on temp to take a hot shower. Defanatly would recommend. It does shut off if you get it to hot.

As the headline reads, my unit will only run for 1 minute then it shuts down. I have tried a number of temperature settings and water pressure settings but it's always the same, it runs for 1 minute and shuts down. Reading through the product reviews, it seems to be a fairly common problem. Either it works great, or it runs for a short period and then shuts down. If you order this, pray you get a functioning unit. Because of the adapter issue mentioned below, I was not able to test the unit until the return window had already passed and had to call Amazon and ask for a special exception to allow the return after the date. An email to the company was not responded to. One other large issue; as the unit comes out of the box, the fitting adapter supplied does not allow for connection to a standard garden or camper supply hose! The supplied adapter is 3/4" NPT (tapered threads). You can partially screw a garden hose onto it, but because the actual hose connection is not flush with the adapter piece, there is no way to make it to not leak. What you actually need is a G 1/2 to GHT 3/4 adapter. This is the exact Amazon product description "G1/2 Female to GHT 3/4 Male Hose Adapter Brass Threaded Pipe Fitting Hose Connector Hose Coupler Water Hose Adapter Garden Hose Swivel (2 Pieces)" from brand name Moxweyeni. It's a very uncommon adapter. Another frustration, their G 1/2 fittings are so undersized it is very difficult to roll enough Teflon pipe tape to make them not leak. I would use a liquid thread sealant and let it cure overnight before applying water pressure to it. You have been warned. I plan to buy another unit and see if I can get one that works now that I already have all the adapter pieces to immediately test it. For standard supply line hoses, you will also need a single (they don't appear to sell single lots, the following is another direct description of the coupler) "Hourleey Garden Hose Adapter, 3/4 Inch Solid Brass Hose Connectors, 2 Pack Hose Connector with 2 Extra Washers (Female to Female)"

This is an excellent solution for outdoor enthusiasts, people living off-grid, and those who need a convenient hot water source without a full installation. It is easy to carry, and quick to set up. It comes with a handle, and a showerhead. The heater can start delivering hot water within seconds. This is particularly useful for when we are in remote areas or when we need hot water in a hurry. Set-Up was easy.

I bought this for camping, but also with power outages in mind. You just attach your water hose, attach the included hose to a propane tank and attach the included shower hose and sprayer. Instant hot water for washing off, taking a shower, or doing dishes. The product is well built and easy to operate. Very pleased!

Product works good, make sure connections are tightened well and use plenty of teflon tape. Works great for our small overland camper! Water temperature is great and last a long time

What I like about this is the safety features. hook up gas, water and insert D batteries.... GO!! Adjust the temp and water flow to your liking. Water runs out it automatically shuts off. Operating on a 16 gallon water tank for a camping shower. works perfectly. I purchased an extension hose to help get to the shower tent better.

We got it and I was super excited to use for my camping trip. Hooked it up and the thermostat shot up to 69, scalding hot, then went down to 23 and stayed there. No matter how much we messed with the heat level, it didn’t change. Didn’t work and I’m extremely disappointed and now have no other back option in time for my trip! The shower part worked like it should and it was a super easy setup. But the main reason for buying was so that I could have a warm shower. I would not recommend buying this product.

they want a revew right as you get something. but no way can 1 just do that with out trying it. well now i have, it will not even start up. dont buy.

Sometimes it lights up and has hot water for 5 seconds there click and turns off. :(
