Pros: + Hides existing scratches (!!!) + Improves Contrast + Stays clean longer (hides fingerprints) + Easy install and removal + Didn’t need much beyond included tools Cons: + May increase glare in some situations. (but improved contrast makes screen look brighter, so it’s not all bad) I expected this to help cut down on fingerprints, which it does well, but I didn’t expect it to perfectly hide existing screen scratches. My 2016 XC90 was bought used and it seemed that the previous owner used the screen to file her 10” acrylic nails... After installing this protector, the screen looks brand new. No joke, not a single scratch is visible. Another side effect is that the contrast seems to be vastly improved, likely because the scratches aren’t visible to dull the screen contents. The only downside is that the reflections are a little more pronounced with this protector installed but it’s a worthwhile trade off. Installation wise, I don’t know what the 1-star reviewers are talking about. This is one of the easiest to install screens I hav ever used... just do the following and you’ll be gold: 1) wipe fingerprints off the screen with a microfiber cloth 2) follow up with the “wiping paper” cloth, included, and let dry. 3) check for dust and remove from screen with some masking tape. 4) attach suction cup to top of protector 5) remove backing from protector, holding only by edges 6) holding suction cup, align protector with bottom of the screen and start laying it down from the bottom, working your way up and rubbing side to side with your finger, until you reach the top. If you see dust or a bubble, STOP, pull the suction cup to back up, and remove the dust with the included stickers, then resume. Easy. Note that if you are installing the rear screen protector for the climate controls, it’s much easier to do so by climbing in the back seat! The included tools worked just fine for me, but I did use masking tape, a pick tool, (to help lift the corner once to remove dust) and a larger microfiber cloth. All in all I’m happy with this protector, and the rear temp control screen is a bonus.

Ordered this for my 2017 GMC Sierra. This is a tempered glass screen protector like the ones that they make for cell phones. The item comes well protected in a case and it also comes with all the accessories needed. The suction cup works really well and helps you get a smooth install. The first thing I did was clean my screen. I did not use the alcohol wipe included as I like the screen cleaner that I use on my PC & TVs. After ensuring that the screen was smudge free, I used the suction cup and placed in one of the corners. I messed up on the initial install and had to remove it. Be careful as the other side contains adhesive and it will stick to the screen, you will have to slowly remove it so you do not crack it. After re-positioning and getting it installed right, I pressed the whole screen on and used my fingers to remove any air bubbles. There is a small gap from the protector to the screen, it does not cover the entire screen. The gap is minimal and does not bother me, 98% of the screen is protected. I did not lose sensitivity on my screen and it reacts the same as it did without the protector. The screen is reflective so it helps make the screen look a lot brighter, it repels dust and finger prints so my screen stays cleaner for a longer period of time as well. I highly recommend this protector for your vehicle. Ensure that you take your time during the prep work so that you don't make any mistakes and you get a clean install.

Good screen protector. Once installed, others can’t notice it unless it’s mentioned and yet they still have trouble finding the screen. Works well no issues with the touchscreen. All features operate has normal. Easy install. Not to be rush for a more level and refinement install.

This product is glary but you can see the screen and see what you are pressing especially when driving. Easy to apply.

The matte finish is good, the sizing and hole placement is good, and because I had been making do with the original piece of protective plastic, I was able to peel that and the backing right off, and attach the screen protector with no dust or bubbles. Once applied, it looks like the holes are a little high, but the trick is that the hinge sticker goes on the upper edge of the infotainment panel, so to swing down over the knobs, the holes have to be slightly larger on the upside. Glass edges match neatly to panel edges, from below-screen buttons to top and both sides. Some slight interference between the screen protector and polarized sunglasses, but trivial. Bumped the light level on the infotainment system and everything is fine. Definitely have to wipe down for fingerprints more, though, because skin oils and the matte finish do something that is distracting in certain light angles. No different than my phone, though, I just can't take the infotainment system, breathe on it, and wipe it on my shirt.

The service was fine, arrived on time. The size and quality of the product are good, it fits the IntelliLink screen in my Sierra Denali almost perfect. I really wish this would have worked out, it’s a great idea, and I really liked the way it looked after I got it installed. BUT mine had a fatal flaw, maybe it was just mine, I don’t know...? What I do know is that I’m as OCD as anyone you’ve ever known. I followed the install directions perfectly. The product looked awesome and perfect once installed for 2-3 days then out of nowhere it developed 4 random “cloudy” splotches that looked like big, greasy, thumb smudges... Tried to clean in it with a brand new micro fiber towel and good quality window cleaner; nothing happened, cloudy splotches are still there. I kept it on my IntelliLink screen for an extra 3-4 days thinking maybe some heat had gotten behind it or perhaps some condensation got behind it? Nope, nothing was behind it and the cloudy splotches were still there, not any worse but not any better so I gently removed the thing from my Nav Screen and tried to clean, rub, and polish off the cloudy splotches on both sides of the thing, no luck, splotches still there. The cloudy splotches appear to be inside the shield as if it were 2 pieces molded together and somehow a chemical reaction occurred delaminating or discoloring it, total bummer! Again, I followed the directions to a “T” and spent nearly 30 minutes installing this and prepping the IntelliLink screen to make sure there were no smears, no residue, no oily finger prints, no dust, no nothing... It looked perfect with no bubbles or air pockets or anything for the first 2-3 days, my passengers loved it when I showed them after I had just got it installed, they thought it was awesome and asked how they could get one for their Escalade’s and Denali’s... I haven’t talked to them yet to see if they’ve installed theirs yet or not but if they did, I’m crossing my fingers like Crazy that they have better luck than me and that I didn’t accidentally turn them onto a waste of time and money.

Easy installation. I believe it will be perfect for protecting my screen.
