Very tight fit and works well
Hoover Model: U6485900, these belts are a very tight fit and work very well. I had to use a bit of force to get the belt over the big pulley. Once installed, it works great.

When the drive belt breaks up, I replace type 170 belt. It work very well.

Easy way to keep several on hand.
With stores carrying less stock it's gotten impossible to find these in stores (except specific vacuum stores which are very expensive)! Order online, best price and arrives quickly!

Worked like a charm and easy to replace
We've had a Hoover Windtunnel pet rated model for a number of years that seemed like it was on it's last legs: the brushes no longer turned and it just didn't seem to have the pick-up power that it used to when we first brought it home. I knew the belts weren't broken so I thought it was just getting old. I came to discover with a little internet research that the belts can stretch to the point where the vacuum barely functions, and that's what had happened to ours. A Phillips head screwdriver and five minutes and the belt was swapped out. The vacuum functions like new again! If you have one of these models and you haven't replaced the belt after several years I highly recommend it--it's a very cheap tune-up!

Don't waste your money
I installed this into my self-propelled Hoover and it lasted 3 months. I've had this Hoover for 15 yrs, so I've replaced the belt several times. A real hoover belt is thicker and has fiber mixed in with the belt to make it stiffer. This belt had none and felt super rubbery. It broke after 3 months of use. I use to buy my belts from the local vacuum store. Their belts that were real Hoover belts and lasted 3 to 4 years. Guess what I may pay a little more but its worth it to have a product that last so much longer.

It works
It is a good sweeper belt. To bad hoover can not design a better drive option. The thing I like best about this purchase is... I did not stand in the aisle at Walmart with a broken belt looking for a replacement that is not there.
