Santa Cruz - The Beach, the Boardwalk, The Pier....The History
This was a very interesting read of the early history and look into what Santa Cruz was and it transition over the years with emphasis on the Italian roots that made Santa Cruz the special place it was and is! An enjoyable quick read with many pictures of interest, especially for persons with ancestors that fished, played and lived the exciting days of the Santa Cruz beach scene! Was nice to be able to see some of what my great grand parents, grand parents and father experienced growing up and living in Santa Cruz! Recommend this book for persons interested in understanding how the beach, boardwalk and piers were realized and how time brought about change.

A pictorial history of the famous Municipal Wharf just off the Santa Cruz Boardwalk: This center of the town's Italian fishing community is pictured, and reported, in poetic detail by Dunn, who's extended family includes many of the fishing families that still do business on the wharf. A fine book about a fine place!

Fun read and great for the coffee table.
If you are familiar with the Santa Cruz Wharf and want a great book for the coffee table this is it. Fun reading and wonderful history of the Wharf.
