This version of the flower fountain has several improvements over the original, including a pre filter that fits into a dedicated container on the pump. The pump is desingned to simly break in two for cleaning and there is an LED on it which illuminates the bowl which has a window that provides a look into the remainng level of water so you dont have to guess and run the bowl over by over filling . The pump is so quiet it is almost impossible to hear so that means it is more efficient. The bowl is square so it contains more liquid than the round one.

I’m impressed with this Veken filter and pre-filter sponge set. The 8-pack replacement filters and 8-pack pre-filter sponges are high quality and a perfect fit for our 50oz cat fountain and our larger 84oz/95oz dog fountain as well. The filtration seems to keep the water crystal clear and tasting fresh, and I’ve noticed fewer hair clogs after switching to these new filters and sponges. I've had numerous cat fountains over the years and the Veken fountain by far out-ranks all of them for ease of cleaning, especially the pump. It's sleek, durable stainless steel, and quiet. It's easy to throw it in dish washer periodically for sanitization.

This cat water fountain filter is a decent value for the money. The instructions are straightforward, and the water flow is good when everything is working properly. It’s also fairly quiet, which is a nice plus. However, after a week or two of use, cleaning becomes a bit of a hassle. Residue tends to stick to the metal parts, making it harder to keep everything fully clean. The bigger issue is reliability. I find myself constantly having to adjust or troubleshoot the fountain to keep it working the way it should, which can get frustrating over time. Overall, it works and serves its purpose, but it requires more upkeep and attention than expected.

I bought the water fountain from Amazon so getting these 2 sets of replacement filters was nice, Easy and a great bargain.

I have several water fountains for my furbabies and out of 4 total, three of them are from Veken. I like their products as it holds up well to a bit of rough use. Ive had mine for a few years and they look and function just fine. These filters fit perfectly in their aluminum water fountain. I didnt notice any disturbance in how the water flows out of the spouts and it seems to keep the water pretty clean and fresh because all three of my cats really enjoy drinking from their fountains.

Yes it DOES come with two little brushes for cleaning out the pump. The filter is lasting well and not turning yellow in a few days, like the cheaper ones were, but despite my thoroughly cleaning the filter and all the parts with hot soapy water, and strong vinegar for the pump, the water still gets frothy in a couple of days. I don't know what it is, unless it's because one of my cats eats raw food... maybe that's why. Sometimes I think a simple bowl one can wash out every day is simpler and better... but I think this is the best filter set one can buy for the Vekken. The one meant for it, of course.

These filters and foam squares are a perfect fit for the type of water fountain that I have. The replacements come with a little brush to clean the water pump.

Good unit for the purpose, just remember to clean it weekly and replace the filter every second week assuming it is not looking dirty after week one.
