Q: is it tested on animals

This product itself may not be tested on animals, but what you do have to consider is that the multiple ingredients that it is made up with and that are listed on the label, may have been tested on animals when they were produced. I was a planner buyer for a pharmaceutical company for many years, and I am familiar with animal testing unfortunately. A lot of our vendors for our “ingredients“, tested their products on animals. So while this actual product was not tested on animals, the ingredients on the label may or may not have been tested on animals.

Q: How come i see q&as for all kinds of unrelated stuff when i’m looking for info on lavender e.o.??!

I don't know what has changed. It is also one of my BIGGEST COMPLAINTS TO AMAZON as a buyer and seller. I hate that when you type in a specific item it pulls up about 200 or more ( for instance I was looking for a phone case) and it pulls up tons which are not even for my phone! Terrible! And, I agree, it should only pull up lavender in your case. The only thing we can do is keep complaining, but it has nothing to do with us as the sellers. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.

Q: I'm missing lavandula officinalis. is officinali spp the same? the only one i can find in the stores now is x intermedia, and it smells different.

Lavandula angustifolia, formerly L. officinalis IS different. Sounds like officinali spp should be the same as L. Angustifolia. L Intermedia is actually lavindin, a strong lavender hybrid that has a fair amount of camphor in it. Hope that helps
