Precision Meets Quality – A Laser Crafter’s Dream
As someone who relies heavily on laser cutting for both hobby and professional projects, I’ve tested a variety of woods—and this Birch consistently stands out. This particular batch exceeded expectations in both consistency and performance.

Great product!
Consistently a great product! I buy for my laser engraving / wood working. Sheets are packaged well and look great!

These come wrapped in plastic individually.
I've been buying these type of 3mm ply from other vendors for a while now. This is my first time buying from this vendor. The one thing i loved about these is that these come individually wrapped in plastics wrap. Allowing them to stay as flat as possible. As we all know, a lot of time we buy this material from other vendors these come already wrapped making them super hard to work with. Well, NOT THESE!! These are super flat and ready to be engraved/cut/scored.. Great buy! I will be buying more from this vendor.

Expect some warped pieces.
More warped pieces than I hoped for, but served the purpose. Used them with my laser cutter for making Easter gifts/decorations.

Absolutely horrible quality
First photos are of the horrid ugliness of this wood. The last two pictures show it compared to the good wood I got from other suppliers. You can probably see how this review is about to go…This has got to be the WORST wood I’ve ever worked with. I hate that I bought it but it’s too late to do anything about to it now. I’ve wasted literal hours trying to get this mess to work to no avail. I even changed my settings on my laser AND adjusted my scroll saw thinking maybe I messed something up but absolutely not. My other batches of wood sheets from other much more reliable suppliers came out flawlessly once I realized it couldn’t have been user error. And sure enough, the wood from other suppliers was beautiful. Shown in the photos, you can see how horrible the quality is. The “wood” peels no matter what and leaves this weird ugly orange color if I try to sand it. The “wood” breaks apart when I try to make a cut and ends up pulling the edges off which in turn makes the back of whatever I cut, tear away when I try to move it. And don’t even get me started on the char and attempting to clean it. Every swipe I made just made it worse, as you can see. I added photos of my amazing wood I purchased from other places like Craft Closet and Smokey Hill Designs so you can see the difference between the two cuts. You can even see that the wood from this vendor is not even the same color. It’s more gray than anything and that gray comes right off the moment you sand or cut it. THEN to top things off, it’s not even the correct thickness. It isn’t worth the money or time it took to try to work with this. The only good thing about this mess is the fact they individually wrapped each sheet, which really didn’t matter since it sucks anyway!

Mostly clear wood on both sides, some blemishes, but thin - 2.6mm - NOT advertised thickness
I ordered the 8-pack of "3MM(±5%) thickness, each measuring 12x12 inches". I knew from the photos that they were really 300mm on a side, which is just under 12" and I'm OK with that. But the "3MM(±5%) thickness" and the image showing a caliper measurement of 2.96mm is TOTALLY wrong.Yes, they are very nice boards as far as surface finish goes. Six of them are perfectly clear on both sides, one has a minor black blemish on one side, and one has some dark areas and splits in the top veneer. See photos. Also, each board is individually wrapped in plastic to keep them clean until used, which is a nice touch and appreciated. My complaint is the thickness. They are advertised as 3MM ±5%, which would be 2.85 to 3.15mm. As received there is a label on the bundle that says they are "2.7 - 3mm", so right there you know you're getting short-changed on thickness. But wait...there's more! The stack of 8 boards, including the plastic film on each board, measured 22.32mm, which means the average thickness is 2.79mm, again, less than the advertised thickness. After removing the film, the actual board measures 2.60mm thick, not even meeting the labeled minimum thickness and far from the 2.85 minimum that was claimed when I purchased them.I will find a use for them because the surface finish is so nice. But even at 3mm I wasn't sure they would be thick enough for my project, and now that I find they are over 13% thinner, I'll have to look for another supplier.

Great for my laser!
These baltic birch sheets are perfect for use on my laser machine. They arrived flat packed and individually wrapped. They are flat with no warping at all.I'm glad I found this item. I definitely would recommend and I will be ordering more!

Did not work well for my project.
I was not happy with the quality of this plywood. The box arrived at my door and it was broken. Each piece of wood is wrapped with plastic which causes it to warp badly. The cuts looked like they were done by hand and were not square. I used it for laser cutting and the glue burned badly and smoked. It left black smoke marks on the wood. I adjusted the laser cutter but could not alleviate the problem. The product did not give suitable results for my project.
