I bought the hub in March, 2018. It worked well for me until several months ago, I notice it started to disconnect randomly and my monitor flickered until it stabilizes on it's own. Now, it's finally dead with absolutely no connection whatsoever no matter what I do to troubleshoot.So the manufacture has reached out to me trying to resolve the issue and offered solutions at my preference. Apparently they have pretty good warranty to back up their product and their customer service are very helpful.

Received this item sometime mid December 2018. Worked great and as needed. Noticed a month back that one USB port did not want to function while HDMI was connected. I thought nothing of it and moved my flash drive to another one of the USB ports. Just yesterday 4/4/19 the whole thing just stopped working. error when plugged into my mac advising to disconnect accessory using too much power. Purchased for work and learned my lesson mid presentation- Always have a back up adapter when using.

All the ports work fine, but the cable to the computer is kinda wonky - it twists in weird ways and makes the hub sit weird, but not an issue of function at all.

This is for the USB-C hub with HDMI output, not all the other stuff that gets reviewed here for some reason!SECOND UPDATE: Seller sent me another, asking me to delete my review, but it behaves exactly the same way. Good for HDMI output, but WILL NOT CHARGE MY GALAXY S9 using the same cables that work fine with the product mentioned below.It will NOT charge my Samsung Galaxy S9. Not at all. USB power meter shows 0.3A going to the hub, but when I bypass the hub and plug the same cord from the same charger into my phone the current jumps to 1.3A. While USB-C power is coming into the hub and SUPPOSEDLY going out to my phone, the phone actually discharges. I let it drop from 95% to 90% while testing. Sigh. Same performance as Ray Cue. Returning. Does anyone make one of these things that does what it says??UPDATE: RayCue and LoHi fail to keep up with the phone's current needs, much less charge it. UGreen's adapter DOES fast charge my phone while HDMI output is in use, and their adapter does not run hot.

Plugged in, computer upgraded to allow the equipment to be used. Simple and effective. Would recommend.

I purchased this to consolidate the cables going into my MacBook but I really like the brushed aluminum. It's nice to only have to plug one cable in to get power, video, and USB-A. I've only used it two days but so far it works great.

I bought this item specifically because of the description stating "HDMI 4K 60Hz". I have not been successful at getting that to work. I have a Dell Inspiron 7577 with "1 x Thunderbolt™ 3 Port (USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C™ with support for 40 Gbps Thunderbolt and DisplayPort)". I have a monitor and an HDMI cable that both support 4K@60hz. I used the same cable and monitor with the same laptops HDMI v2.0 port and was able to achieve 4K@60hz. When using this hub via the Thunderbolt 3 port, I was only able to get [email protected] anybody else able to get this to work?At the cost of this item for it to specifically advertise 4K@60hz and it not work is unacceptable.
