Yoken Organic Jojoba Oil 16oz, USDA Certified Cold Pressed for Skin Care

Very nice oil. It came well packaged to prevent leaks or breakage. It's in a glass bottle with a pump, but I transferred some into a little spray bottle for after shower use. It works great and feels wonderful on my dry skin. There's really no smell to speak of. I fixed another bottle with a few drops of my favorite essential oil and it makes a great perfume. Jojoba oil is my favorite because it soaks in so nice and isn't greasy. This is a good quality brand.

I have learned more about this company in the past 3 days than I ever did about any of their competitors previously. I needed Jojoba oil for a pain salve I needed to make quickly. I liked the price and pureness of this brand, so I added it to my cart and checked out. I realized 16oz wouldn't be enough since I was putting both comfrey and arnica in my salve, so I quickly ordered another 16oz bottle. Once received, I ground my comfrey and placed it in one pint jar with almost one whole (16oz) bottle and poured the rest of the first bottle and part of the second bottle over the arnica in a second mason jar and quickly got both jars in a water bath in my slow cooker (warm setting) for a 30-hour extraction. Both bottles arrived in perfect condition with no leakage. I rubbed a small amount onto the back of my hand and loved how quickly it absorbed without leaving a greasy feeling. I then realized I needed vitamin E to go into the salve (which was a nightmare at first, but I ended up with a great product on the second purchase. I threw the first one away after I took the time to read the label!) I discovered the vitamin E I loved, happened to be this same brand. I did a deep dive on the company and am thrilled with the pure ingredients label and organic certifications. Their products aren't greasy, on the contrary, they are quite compatible with most skin types. My skin absorbed the oil easily and I found it refreshing. I will buy this Jojoba oil in larger quantities from here on, knowing I can trust this brand for my salves and healing products. Our skin is our largest organ. As an herbalist, it's important to me to know every detail of what I'm putting into my cells. While some people use EVOO as a carrier oil, Jojoba oil has the closest properties to that produced by our skin, making it the easiest absorbed and recognized by our bodies. It's the oil I prefer to use if I'm going to make a pain salve or antibiotic salve. Mind you, this is not my area of expertise, I mainly focus on tinctures and internal herbal medicine. However, whether I'm going to absorb herbs into my body via my skin, or under my tongue, I'm going to use the best products I have at my disposal. This Yoken Pure Jojoba Oil is the only oil I will be using on mine and my family's skin. I am an herbalist, not a medical doctor. If you are going to use this as a carrier oil for herbs, you should speak with your medical provider to ensure your herbs of choice won't interfere with any synthetic drugs you may be on.

This is a quality jojoba oil. It comes in an easy to use pump bottle. There is no fragrance added, no irritating ingredients, pure jojoba. I cannot speak to other people’s skin. I am a fair skinned mixed ethnicity Caucasian looking woman in her 60s with rosacea in an extremely dry climate. This is compatible for me. I think skin compatibility of this product would be pretty broad. I use it as a makeup remover, a facial moisturizer at night, on the ends of my hair when it’s damp, on my nails to help with brittleness, and my body straight out of the shower before drying off. If used in the proper amount it’s a whole body moisturizer. Again, if used in the proper amount there is no greasiness . The skin, hair and nails absorbs it. I think it really comes down to the individual’s needs and amount they use. It has been a definite positive game changer for me!

This product is a great value when compared to others. The quality of the oil is compatible to your skin, good on sensitive skin, non-greasiness. The has a nice drip application and don't give you any leakage. The product is so good for various skin issues.

This jojoba oil is legitimate, as there is a prominent amber color and smoky smell. I've tried a different brand from Amazon and it did not seem like it was authentic because of the lack of smell and the color was very light. I use this to remove my makeup and it leaves my skin so soft and deep cleanses my pores. Makeup removing wipes are too harsh on the skin and drag the face imo.

I love that this is cold pressed so I know that I'm getting all the benefits that this oil has to offer. I've applied it on my skin and hair and it absorbs quickly. It's also great to combine with lotions for better absorption particularly in the cold, dry weather. Only reason why I took off a star was for the pump. I think that the dispensing could be smoother, as the oil comes out as a spritz almost, making it challenging to control if you store it on your vanity. And it dispenses quite a bit when you pump - not bad if you want to apply on larger areas, but if you want half that amount, it's not possible.

I love this oil so so much! My husband gives me back massages and we used to use a massage bar but we would go through them so fast and they left me feeling greasy all day and would transfer onto my clothes and bedding. This oil is so light weight and absorbs faster. It doesn’t feel greasy or like it’s clogging my pores. It’s highly moisturizing and does not transfer to my bedding or leave residue. It’s super slick on my skin so doesn’t create friction while he’s rubbing my back and doesn’t dry out or absorb during the process like lotion does. The smell is very mild, almost no scent so that’s a plus too. As you can see in the picture, it does occasionally leak a little bit but since it doesn’t stain anything or leave residue it’s not a big deal to me. We’ve had this bottle for a while now, so it definitely lasts!

I use this jojoba oil daily for moisturizing after I shower and for double cleaning my face. Pump dispenser is convenient but very messy. Too much pumps out at a time. This jojoba oil is a great value for the size. Will definitely purchase again when I run out.

I decided to try making my own body cream so I could stop using moisturizers with 17 ingredients, most of which I could neither pronounce nor did I know what half of them were and what they are doing to my body. We absorb about 78% of what we put onto our skin, so I made an excellent body cream using beef tallow, this jojoba oil and vitamin A oil. It feels so luxurious on my skin and I know exactly what is in it. I'll never go back to the junk from the stores. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start making their own body products.

Love this oil. Mix it with a body lotion and it makes my skin feel so soft. Also put it in my hair mid length to ends before washing.
