Unexpectedly surprised
This product is well made, heavy duty plastic and thick steel. Came in very nice packaging. It works well so far.

Quiet. Larger 120 ml reservoir means lungo.
Only used 6 times. Works fine for loose coffee, haven't tried a Nespresso pod. Likes fine grind best (for crema). Reasonably quiet. Decent crema (not excellent yet). Can't vouch for 50+ shots per charge yet. Pretty quiet.

Died after 2 weeks
Really loved this portable maker. Did well with metal (Pete's) pods and plastic pods as well, though some don't quite fit the holder depending on the manufacturer. One brand I tried you really couldn't get the lid screwed all the way on properly. Other plastic pods worked great.Brewed a decent cup, not really much crema more froth at the end of the brew cycle when the coffee shoots out in a hard stream. Still a decent cup and a pretty good strength and richness. If you want better, go to a shop or lug around a counter-top model.I really liked that the lid is attached by a hinge. 3 other battery powered models I've bought (and returned) had a detached lid. I'm not really a fan of the "trays" simply because the other 3, plus two manual types I tried, all had a ring that screwed onto the body. It just seems like a better seal to prevent leaking. That said, the other's leaked so I guess it's just a skewed perception.I have made 3-6 brews a day for the last 2-3 weeks with no issues. I even used the loose grind basket one time. That was a pretty strong cup there; It's what I would use to make an "Americano" cup.Today, I tried to use the loose ground basket again. Nothing came out at first then water just leaked around the sides. As the basket seals are pretty good this means the water backed up and overflowed. It just wouldn't brew. I thought I had too many grounds, so I used much less. Still the same issue. I used just the empty holder and still the same issue. I then put a pod (brand I had been using all along) and nothing came out. I removed the pod and put an empty hold in and no water flowed. I guess the pump no longer works. There's no way to run it without the tray in place.I'm going to return it for a replacement. And I will update later. Sooner if I have to return it again, months later if I keep it.I wish the grounds holder had little baskets. It would be nice to have two or three ready to go even if you had to purchase them separately.Wish me luck with the replacement unit.Oh, took 9 days before it shipped on Monday and arrived Tuesday. Looks like the replacementis on a 10 day delivery. Not sure why one day shipping time is 10 days both time.Edit 2-4-24. Absolute junk. I was brewing a cup and apparently the thing that pierces the foil didn't do its job and the bottom screw on piece popped off. I just got a new capsule poked holes in the foil but no matter how hard I screw on the holder it pops off or water just leaks out around it. So now I brew water. Please nobody waste your money on this piece of junk.Updated edit: finally had a chance to look at it today and as you can see in the picture when it popped off the tab that holds the cap on broke. It will never work again. It looks thick and solid, but apparently it's very brittle plastic. They would have been much better with full threads.
