This sharpening item was not expensive, but WOW does it do the trick! All my knives now are extremely sharp so you have to be extra careful. When you first use your knife after sharpening it you will feel it slice through like butter! Very impressive!

This is a great item! I was not sure if it would be any good as its so small and having purchase knife sharpeners in the past, all have left me and my knifes feeling rather dull. What a blessing to at last find one that does actually work and it has brought a new sence of joy to my chopping! Even onions that in the past have left me in tears are diced and sliced with little effort! It sticks to my counter top really well and when not In use it lives on my fridge as its suction pads are very strong.

It took me a short while to get the angle of my knives right to then drag them correctly through the centre of this gadget. There's kind of a wrong sound and a right sound to the metal sliding through the sharpener but once I'd got the hang of it..... Just wow! I'm so happy to have sharp knives again. It makes slicing and chopping a breeze. I will say that every time I use the suction pad to fix it in position, I dab the base on a wet sponge which cleans the pad and gives it a tight glue like grip. Absolutely love this kitchen essential. Can't really recommend it enough but like I said, it takes quite a few goes to get the sliding motion right and get used to it so that instead of damaging the knives it just gives a perfect new blade edge.

Excellent knife sharpener. Easy and a joy to use. My knives are as sharp now as when I originally bought them.

Nice and compact and the suction cup works well. It does sharpen, but it will leave the blade very jagged and damaged so this is definitely not to be used on high-quality knives. The worst thing for me though is the noise - it’s like dragging fingernails down a blackboard every time you pull the knife through. For that reason I really don’t think I can carry on using it. Great as a cat deterrent though - my cats literally ran away when I used it!

Es muy práctico y fácil de usar. Afila muy bien y cumple su cometido para la cocina. Es claro que no es un afilador profesional pero los cuchillos quedan muy bien afilados. La calidad de afilado es notable y no ocupa mucho espacio. Se deben leer las instrucciones para su uso adecuado.
