Train is good quality for the price, smoke effect works well, track a little fiddly to assemble but again works well, no derailments at all so far, even in reverse, highly recommended

The media could not be loaded. Christmas themed American style remote control steam train, it has authentic sounds and fake smoke feature, a headlight as well as proportional radio control. The train set is made out of plastic and I am not sure how durable it will be long term but it really is a great set. Firstly it is much larger than I thought it would be and once the track is assembled in the largest oval option it is big. The train is powered by non rechargeable batteries that are not supplied, same with the remote. It requires 6 AA batteries, I am not sure how long the batteries will last but I suppose you could use rechargeable to make it a bit more economic to run. I do like the remote that is styled to look like the front of an engine, it is easy to use with a knob that varies the forward and backwards speed, accompanied by sounds if you have turned them on via the remote. You can also turn the fake steam/smoke off/on via the remote. The steam requires you to add some water behind the chimney, it says you must use the measure provided and to be careful not to overfill as this might get into the works, sensible advice. The track clips together easily but you need to follow the instructions as it assembles in particular way, there are also some fishplates that are added to strengthen the joints once assembled. First use might need a bit of adult supervision, you will want to have a go anyway! You can make three track layouts and there are some accessories such as a crossing gate, trees etc.. Worth saying that the battery compartment in the train does need a firm pull to slide it out on this one at least, I thought it had got stuck at first. Having a rechargeable battery would definitely have been an improvement, but that withstanding it is a cracking set. My nephew is going to have a smile a yard long when he comes to play with this.

Ist Kinderbuch aufzubauen und macht genau das was sie soll.Man kann sie super mit der Fernbedienung steuern. Egal ob Vorwärts, Rückwärts, schnell oder langsam.Wirklich praktisch ist, das man den Ton auch ausschalten kann. Dieser ist zwar nicht schlecht, auf Dauer aber etwas störend.Den Dampf einmal nachgefüllt, hört der Zug gefühlt gar nicht mehr auf (hält wirklich sehr lange an).Macht Spaß & ist definitiv ein Hingucker, egal ob für Groß oder Klein.

Mir hat nichts Missfallen,alles hat gestimmt und Spaß gemacht.Diese Eisenbahn hatte ich unter den Tannenbaum deponiert und im Kreis fahren lassen.Es ging alles.Licht, Geräusche klangen der echt,der Dampf optimal und das Designer.Kann ich nur empfehlen.Klein und Große waren begeistert.

Die Schienen mit zusätzlichen Befestigung das die nicht auseinander gehen.. Leider hat meine Lokomotive keinen Dampf gemacht aber das wird dann noch ausgebessert hoffe ich...
