Touching the Eternal: A Retreat on the Heart of Spiritual Surrender

If you know how to "be" in silence, space or stillness, you will LOVE this! But if this doesn't resonate, well he starts out with surrender and its wonderful. Have you ever had tasks which are extremely difficult to do -- say like taking care of a sick person or any of the mundane boring tasks we get "stuck" with or maybe an unpleasant boss or relative? Well maybe this will help. I did study this part day after day after day for a long period of time while caring for a bedridden person -- 6 years -- based on Eckhart's teachings on surrender. Its the first disk. The rest is wonderful too. Can change your life if you relax into it. If by chance you don't resonate with it, keep it in a safe place. It will. I am amazed at how much more is covered than when I first viewed it 10 or 12 years ago.

I'm a huge follower of Eckhart's and love to experience his teachings on DVD. There's something about seeing the joy and peace that resides in him visually while hearing the words of his teaching. He teaches directly from his heart to your heart. I highly recommend this DVD set to anyone!

While I gained a great deal from Tolle's books, his teachings on the CDs were very repetative and some what dissapointing. Maybe I am suffering from "Tolle overload" or something. In fairness to him, this review is not just focused on his teachings but the physical product as well in relation to the advertisement.The quality of the CDs were fine and the production was OK; however, I won't be spending any more $$ on other productions like this.
