I THOUGHT IT HAD FAILED, BUT IT WAS ME...
Followed the simple instructions; charged it; opened Wahoo Fitness app; added the 'new device' and all worked great! Then the next time I used it I put it on my arm and the sensor lights (against your skin) flashed frantically, but the slow pulsing led on the side (that shows you it's operating) did not light! After looking on YouTube to see how to reset it, it still did the same..! Then I worked out that it was me not realising how it works and that I hadn't needed to reset it. The Coros is very efficient and does not waste energy sending a Bluetooth signal when there is no registered App open! D'Oh!!!! I have now ridden with it a few times and it seems very reliable, I also compared the reading with my existing chest HR monitor, that reads the heart's electrical signal (or something like that), and the Coros reading is almost identical, so I'm very happy with it.

Great but you don't get to spit on you hand and rub it like you do a chest strap...... :)
Game changer. I've been using chest straps for the last 15 years. Never really any issues other than batteries dying. Gone through Garmins and then maybe 3 wahoo ones. All fine I guess, the Wahoo's only seem to last a couple of years for some reason. Now, pre-setting the strap for these has always been just one of those things I did, either under a tap and embrace the chill when you put it on, or the spit and rub which always had a mildly kinky vibe to it :) Not to mention the more often than not coffee scented strap after a while. Then I finally cave a get this little switcheroo. I wasn't sure how good it would be using the same kind of system that watch based heart rate sensors use (which always seem to lock on to cadence for me). But this thing is solid. Comfy, requires no spit and means i can add a new weird tan line to my arm come summer. But in seriousness, it's accurate, connects to my suunto watch, (i've not used the coros app), is accurate and i honestly forget I'm wearing it. Plus being that it sits on my upper arm and not at the core of my body, it doesn't get anywhere near as sweaty in the heat.

The best optical sensor, but swap the strap
The best optical sensor (I tried them all). Extremely accurate around the bicep and even the wrist (not usually advised due to inaccuracy). Easy to charge, usb-c, and the auto on/off works beautifully. The strap is too uncomfy and pinchy, but is easily swapped for a replacement Coospo Hw9 strap which is the best (feed it through in one loop and trim the bits). Like all opticals, readings lag a few seconds behind realtime, and it takes a few seconds to dial in after putting on.

Very comfortable
Excellent and seems pretty accurate against my Garmin chest strap

Great HR monitor but short charge cable!
Seems to be more accurate than wrist based for me, and way more comfortable than a chest strap. Very easy to forget you're actually wearing it, so 5 stars there. However I am knocking a start off due to the length of the charge cable - ridiculously short. My plugs are just above my skirting board, and when plugged into a charger, the strap is still dangling in the air which will no doubt cause issues with the cable eventually. Shame! No issues using it with my Garmin Epix Gen 2, but I did have a problem with my Peloton Bike+. It worked the first time but not subsequently.

Game changer
Well so far, brilliant, quick connection, rechargeable (2hrs) rather than battery replacement, so comfy you'll forget you have it on. I'll never go back to the chest strap, arm strap connected will come up in your watch too, my last chest strap (allot more expensive) was hit or miss.

Great bit of Kit!
I love this thing. Originally bought a Polar H10 but it was simply too tight. This worked with my Garmin Instinct 2x solar and also works on the Coros app. Readings are close to the Polar for me.I am not an extreme athlete, but wanted better metrics and it's far more accurate for me than the Garmin.

Terrible connectivity
Total rubbish. Wouldn’t connect properly at all. Connection to my watch kept dropping in and out. At some points when it was connected to my watch but I wasn’t wearing either it or the watch it was still displaying heart rate figures on my watch. Don’t know if that’s lag or the device just making it up. Either way I have no trust in it at all now. Returning it immediately. Very disappointed.

Fungerar mycket bra

Superb HRM
Excellent armband heart rate monitor. It connects flawlessly to my Peloton equipment with zero setup hassle. It’s comfortable to wear, and once you’re used to having an armband HRM, you barely notice it’s there. Heart rate tracking is very accurate—especially the rise and fall during workouts—noticeably better than what I get from watches, which is exactly why I purchased it. I don’t own any other COROS products, so this has been a standalone purchase for me, and it’s performed perfectly.
