Great binoculars and very clear picture.

Lightweight with excellent optics

No bad set o pocket Bins for the reduced price, certainly no worth the full price. Also something else that lets them down is the lack of a reasonable set of lens caps, my pockets are fill of all sorts o horrible stuff that ends up on the lenses...not good and if they're hanging round your neck in the rain they obviously get soaked

Bought a pair of these from John Lewis because I wanted to be able to try them first, and they were the same price on Amazon in any case. I tried every pair in the store, including the cheaper and more expensive options but found the 8x25 Sportstar offered the clearest and brightest view. While they were slightly heavier than some others, the build quality appeared vastly superior, and I cant fault them in any way. Be aware though that the 10 year warranty given with them is 5 years parts & labour and 5 years parts only.

Bought as a gift and it's now been posted off. I had a try before posting though and not 100% sure I've bought the right binoculars. There was almost a grey area I couldn't see properly through, but with some finer adjustments seemed to clear again. Fingers crossed they'll be ok.

Title says it all really. Used first pair twice when walking dog, third time out of collimation but no knocks at all. Second pair treated with kid gloves, but still after a few times out same thing happened. Either an unlucky coincidence or these are very fragile as far as maintaining collimation is concerned. A very bad buy.

Pour ca tarif, ce sont de super jumelles, dignes de Nikon. Etui (basique) fourni, complètement étanches, garanties fabricant 10 ans, Traitées multicouches, optiques très satisfaisantes et surtout : le meilleur champ (env 147 m à 1000 mètres) pour cette catégorie, et distance minimale aux alentours de 2.5 mètres. Bien évidemment, réglage dioptrique œil droit. Alors, pourquoi les ai-je renvoyées? Eh bien un détail très gênant : le dégagement oculaire est bon mais...pas de crantage, ce qui fait que lorsque l'on appuie le visage contre les oculaires, elles ne tiennent pas... Vraiment dommage!!

Seit ca. 30 Jahren laufe ich fast täglich mit Ferngläsern zur Vogel- und Naturbeobachtung rum. Mein kleines hochwertiges Swarovski (8x25) ist immer dabei. Das Nikon habe ich für meinen kleinen Neffen gekauft. Es sollte was höherwertiges sein, wo es auch spass macht durch zu gucken. Kein "Kinder-Marmeladenglas".Von der optischen Leistung war ist sehr positiv überrascht. Ein Unterschied zu meinem 5-6x teureren Swarowski war kaum auszumachen. Es macht auch mechanisch einen guten ersten Eindruck. Größere, schwerere Gläser haben natürlich optische Vorteile, - werden auf Dauer auch schnell lästig. Das beste Glas ist immer das was man dabei hat.

Excellentes jumelles surtout en solde à 65€ franco ! Optique impressionnante. Petites et légères, on peut les emmener partout. De plus on passe facilement de la position porteur de lunettes à la position sans lunettes en tournant les embouts.Dommage que ça tourne et change de position un peu trop facilement. Les caches ne tiennent pas super bien non plus mais ce n'est pas bien grave.En fait les 8x et 10x ont la même taille et le même poids (300g). Les 8x sont en théorie plus lumineuses, ce qui est bon pour l'astronomie. J'ai d'ailleurs pu observer un satellite de Jupiter avec... Le champ des 8x étant plus large, elles sont peut-être plus adaptées aux porteurs de lunettes.
