review instructions and ensure orientation is correct. Clips need a lot of persuasion to seat on rail. Overall rack is sturdy and looks great, slight wind noise at speed.

I like the rack. I got it all black intentionally because I have a Dark Theme XC60 so just wanted all black accessories. I think the long, stainless screws look kind of like an afterthought at best. I guess I’ll size them up and find something black. And shorter. Unless Erkul people read these and want to square me away and send some appropriate looking screws. There’s also a reference to hex nuts to go on the back of these screws, but the bracket is threaded so there’s no need really. They are not in the hardware. The instructions should be updated to avoid a few minutes of confusion.

Better constructed and much cheaper than the Volvo rack. But it is a bit noisier. (Wind noise on highway)
