Bicycle Steampunk Playing Cards, Bronze

I'm a fan of the Steampunk aesthetic and these cards are going to be a welcome addition to family game night. They incorporate steampunk cues without the Victorian penchant for clutter. So while they aren't purely steampunk they are actually better for a deck of cards you actually want to use. Made by U.S. Playing Card Company (Bicycle) so you know that they will play smoothly and be durable.

Let me finish my set of gold, silver and bronze. Nice cards. Very pleased with the feel and looks.

This deck overall is rated as my second favorite deck to play under $20, second to the Ellusionist Infinity Deck (see my much more thorough review on that deck). This is of course only an opinion, but these cards have a very playable face, and a very cool back, and they even have a pretty cool box for about 1/2 the price of a similarly well engineered deck. I like that these cards are made from Bicycle stock which shuffles better than any other brand, although they do not last as long as the Infinity cards that are made from Hoyle stock (both Hoyle and Bicycle are made by the American Playing Card Company in the USA, and both are premium brands). For magic tricks, this would probably be one of the more boring decks you could pick... for strictly playing purposes, I've looked at about 100 other decks, and this is my second favorite overall on the decks that are under $20. A great deck to consider for a serious poker game, or just friendly play like Hearts and Spades.

They are Bicycle cards, so the quality is there; I wish a bit more had been done with the steampunk theme, though, even if it was just to change the indexes to something more period; steampunked court cards would have been amazing. So overall a missed opportunity; quality cards but not sure they are worth the premium over a regular deck of Bicycles.

when you buy a pack of cards that are supposed to be themed you expect the entire deck to match said theme. The royalty of each suit including the aces and the jokers should all match the theme of the deck, sadly this is not the case with the Steampunk theme in these playing cards. save your money, it is definitely not worth it.

Matched the "Streampunk" trinket box I purchased for a young man. A very unique and useful gift! Looking to purchase more "Steampunk" items as they are very "cool" gifts for many ages!

While I do have to admit that it is my own fault for not looking more closely at the details of these cards...I was very upset that nothing beyond the back of the cards is original design.You get a deck of 100% standard cards with a graphic on the back, which is actually ugly and barely even steam-punk looking. The box is the only real cool thing about these cards.Don't let the design of the box fool you either, it is not a metallic color in any way, nor is it beveled in any way. It is a flat box with flat color that mimics the illusion of depth and the images of it mimic a shine to it...it is actually as plain as every other aspect of these overpriced cards...

This is a great deck with near bicycle quality. I personally find the silver steampunk deck to be more visually interesting. But this is a great deck for collectors and shuffles and plays well.Unlike the robot deck this face cards here are the traditional face cards
