Decorated a guest space on a very tight budget and was originally looking for replacement lamps after one of the pair originally in the room broke. Decided to use these as accent lights instead. Just enough light so the room isn’t in total darkness but not enough to read by. Upside- no wiring and professional installation required, easy to hang, decent size although I do wish they were a little larger. They were also lightweight enough that I could hang them using mounting tape. Looked good in the space. Downsides- they use four AA batteries and even with minimal use they only lasted a few weeks - not sure exactly when they died but when we did notice it hadn’t been all that long. Will have to do a test to see how long it really takes. These with rechargeable batteries may work better for this purpose; might last a bit longer and less money on batteries.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Okay, so I'm really digging the design of these things, they're super cool! The only bummer is that the remotes are pretty much useless, which is a huge letdown. I've tried everything, like changing the batteries and moving closer, but nothing seems to help. It's a real shame because the product itself is awesome! Hopefully, they can fix this remote issue in future versions.

Absolutely do the job and easy to add lights with plugging in. Remote is the best part because you can turn them on and off at the back door.

Bought these lights in March 2025 for some extra light in my kitchen. I decorated them with little shades and beads. Very cute. All of them worked for a while then only one worked. Within a month they were all done so they are just hanging to look pretty. No function at all. Showed them to a friend 5 months later and they don’t work. I used 12 new batteries so that should not have been an issue. They were never on long enough to drain a battery so why should so many of us have the same problem?
