Wow, a grow light that's also got many more uses. It's taken me a little while to review this because I wanted to be fair with it. Normally, what is there to say about a grow light that's different than it helps your plants grow? This is the second grow light I've bought and it's my favourite so far. Not only can you use it to help your plants grow during the dark winter months but I've also been using this to help soldering and as a general light. I did take a photo of a soldering job it was lighting up and I've spent a few days trying to find it and I must have deleted it by accident. The light is very bright at maximum setting and when set to white, helps immensely. The timer function is very handy having three settings of 6 hours, 12 hours and 16 hours. The dimmer function has 5 settings and you can subtly change the color of the LEDs including bright white and blue. You can choose whether to mount it using a padded crocodile clip (so it doesn't damage the surface of whatever it is you've clamped it to) or a spike to keep in a plant pot. Overall this is an awesome light and I will be buying another soon to keep with my soldering gear.

Absolutely love these! My pothos leaves are so much closer together after only a few weeks! I really can see a difference in speed of growth. Especially as the pothos in my lounge is in a relatively dark room. Nice long cable if plug is further away. Blends in well, I don’t really notice them. Easy to position with flexible rod. Nice and bright, real good quality lights. Excellent value for money. Really easy to use, with multiple time settings.

The light comes with a stake or clip option, with a bendy stem to angle it where you need. The bend you shape it to doesn't really stay put perfectly but if you put it a bit higher than you need it'll slip down to where you wanted it. I don't like the LED so I have to turn them off at the plug instead of using the control as I can't cover the LED because it illuminates the whole lower part of the control casing, and I bought these specifically for my bedroom so that was a bit of an annoyance for me. Other than that the lights work well, the 3 modes are distinct, I leave mine on full spectrum for the plants. The clip is strong, haven't tried the stakes. The usb power cord is really long which is great because I have limited places to plug in. Can go into any USB plug or port. The ring light shape is really nice, it's quite dinky compared to the size of the clip which is quite robust feeling and doesn't budge at all.

Bought on 5 Mar and now 13 of May - barely 2 months old the grow light died. Not working. Poor quality.

I basically use it as substitute daylight, since I live in a rainy climate that's too dark for my plants during the winter. Even my cactus approves of the brightness of this light. I've been using it daily for over a year and so far so good - it's still going strong. I use standard daylight strength only, mostly because I find the colours to be odd to my own vision, but I don't like coloured lampshades so I know that's just me. The clip is solid and keeps it in place. The USB mode of plug helps keep my power strip from having too many plugs on it, but the plug also works just fine. An excellent little plant light, and well worth the price.

I have no natural light in my lounge. This has allowed me to grow and enjoy an array of plants. I love the lighting this provides. It’s functional and looks great. I also like the dimming function. I’ve received lots of compliments and can highly recommend. However, the durability is questionable. The adapter plug has stopped working. So I now need to purchase another US. Plug otherwise I can’t use my light. But if a shame as I would have hoped that the product would have lasted longer than one year.

My product arrived quickly and well packaged. Everything you need is in that box. There are different ways you can use the lights. There are spikes for going into soil or clips to attach to furniture. USB port to access hardwear for power or plugs. The lights have different settings so the brightness can be altered to suit you and your plant. There are more buttons I've not tried yet..... So I may not be doing the product justice here. These light make great lamps in a room and of an evening they really show off the plants. I will be getting more of these lights for other rooms. The really contented are my plants. The snake plant wasn't really thriving, merely existing in the darker interior of a room, after using this light I have new growth to enjoy. That for me is the strongest selling feature of this product.

We've decided to take cuttings very late in the year due to being busy. This is usually quite a risky decision because plants that aren't well established can sometimes perish in the winter. So, to give the little ones a bit more light when the days are getting darker, we've bought this handy little light. At the start of last week, the plants had been attacked by the cat and were looking a bit sorry for themselves. Since we've given them a feed and started using the light, we've noticed that they've perked up significantly. Things we've found useful: - UK plug or USB connection. As you can see we've taken advantage of the USB plug and used a battery pack, we live in a pretty old house and plugs are scarce. This makes it really easy to implement wherever you like. - Lighting options. From what I understand, blue/red light can be more useful depending on where your plant is in it's life cycle so it's nice to have the option to make it more efficient. You can also have both at once. - Bendy neck. The neck of the light can bend so it can fit in any space. Thinking about it now, I could bend this around the moss pole in the picture to make it more stable. - Timer. We don't want this running all day long so we usually put it on the maximum time and let it run out.

Meine Zimmerpflanzen lieben es! Aufgrund der positiven Erfahrung, habe ich nach rund 4 Monaten noch ein weiteres Set bestellt. Erfahrungsbericht: Ich setzte es beispielsweise an Efeututen ein. Die Pflanzen mit Grow Light haben ein deutlich höheres Wachstum sowohl in Üppigkeit als auch Geschwindigkeit wie jene Efeututen ohne Grow Light. Man sieht auch, dass sich umliegende Pflanzen in ca. max. 40-50cm Radius aktiv in Richtung des Grow Lights ausrichten bzw. wachsen. Nach einigen Monaten in der Verwendung kann ich sogar bestätigen, dass es möglich ist in einem innenliegenden Raum ohne Fenster und natürlichem Licht Pflanzen zu halten. Teilweise nutze ich kein Deckenlicht mehr, weil die Grow Lights ein tolles Ambientlight wie Fokusspots auf meine Pflanzen erzeugen. Lieferumfang: Die Lampen werden mit einer Klemme und einem Spieß geliefert. Die Klemme hat ausreichend Kraft und ist üppig mit Schaumstoff gepolstert, sodass an Töpfen kein Schaden entstehen kann. Allerdings muss die Klemme schon genügend Fläche zum Greifen bekommen, weshalb der Topfrand frei von Erde sein oder die Klemme in Teilen in die Erde gesteckt werden muss. Die Montage beider Installationsoptionen ist einfach und schnell gemacht. Außerdem ist erfreulicherweise für jedes Grow Light auch ein Steckerkopf dabei. Das Kabel wiederum ist ausreichend lang, hier wurde zum Glück nicht am falschen Ende gespart. Lackabplatzer oder ähnliches hatte ich bei bisher 4 Lampen (2 Sets) keine. Die Zeitsteuerung, Helligkeitsregelung und Lichtspektren funktionieren problemlos und sind einfach verständlich. Ich persönlich hätte mir statt 6, 12 und 18 noch einen Zwischenschritt wie 8 oder 10 Stunden gewünscht. Das Etikett oebn auf der Lampe ist an dieser Stelle etwas ungünstig positioniert und sticht mit dem silbernen Hintergrund markant hervor. Es lässt sich aber glücklicherweise einfach und rückstandslos entfernen.

Timer doesn’t work. I cannot even use an external timer. Ive to manually turn on an off the lights each day. Sure what good is that. I’m so annoyed. So it doesn’t matter that it works fine unless there’s a working timer. I believe they know that their timers don’t work in many of their units. False advertising.

Pleasantly surprised by these inexpensive lights! My outdoor pond aerator/heater broke and I needed to bring my fish indoors to prevent them dying with the sudden ice build up. I brought some of the pond plants in with them but needed supplemental lights to keep them going over the long winter months. These lights are perfect for the job. I've only had them a couple of days, but have been really impressed by the build quality. The lamp housing, gooseneck, and spring clamp and all metal. Unheard of nowadays! I'm new to grow lights and haven't figured out all the settings yet, but the light output is great and the plants have already responded positively. As an added bonus, the fish seem to love it too. NOTE: This lamp is NOT waterproof, a fact that I'm well aware of and have taken precautions to ensure safety as much as possible. This option far exceeds the aquarium style lights I looked at but other potential buyers should note that care needs to be taken to ensure the lamp housing and cord do not get wet or fall in the water (duh!). Highly recommend these little lamps. For the price they pack a lot of value imho. Also, the company provides power blocks for both lamps, something that other offerings at the same price point did not. So, if you're shopping around make sure you're comparing apples to apples. PRO'S: All metal, auto-timer, 2 mounting options, power blocks included. CON'S: I accidentally threw out the instructions. Not really a con, just a head's up. Not waterproof, but adding that feature would reflect in a higher price so I'm content with it as it is.
