It's easy to use
This thermometer is, like, super versatile. It can read temperatures from 41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit in "object mode" and from 50 to 104 in "body mode." And the best part? Switching between the two modes is a breeze. All you gotta do is press the "mode" button, even my little brother could do it.But wait, there's more! This thermometer has this awesome feature where it can save the 20 most recent readings you've taken. It's like having your own little temperature diary. You can scroll through them one by one, and see how your temperature has been doing over time. It's a good way to keep track of your health, and I'm totally here for it.Oh, and here's the fun part! I decided to test this bad boy out in "object mode" by checking the temperature in my fridge. You know, just to see how it performs with different things. My fridge is set at a chilly 38 degrees, and the thermometer gave me readings between 37.7 and 39.9. Now, I'm thinking the small variations might be because of the distance between the thermometer and what I was measuring. But seriously, it's such a handy feature to have, especially if you wanna make sure your ice cream stays perfectly frozen. It's easy to use, and I'd say it's, like, 99% accurate. Of course, the instructions do say that the readings are for reference only, but honestly, it's been spot-on for me. I know I can trust it to give me a good idea of what's going on with my temperature.

can be used for air temperature and objects too
I really like this, as its better than my other digital thermometer...as this one...can do general temperature, and not just body temperature. Meaning it can read the temperature of theoretically almost anything...such as the mattress I was laying on was interestingly 10 degrees warmer near where I was laying, vs 10 degress colder just a few inches away, or even the air/room temperature. Wheras my other digital thermometer...would just read "Lo" whenever It wasn't pressed against your forehead, as others ones may just be able to read like 85-105 degree human temps. So this thermometer is excellent for versatility, as it can read from 41 - 104 degrees fahrenheit in "object mode", and 50-104 in "body mode". You just switch between the two modes, by pressing the "mode" button, and a baby face shows for body mode, and a thermometer icon for "object" mode. Very easy. And so useful.Another feature is it will save the 20 last readings you have done, so you can pull that up as well at any time. (but only individually, by selecting 1-20) Lastly, one quirk about it, is that it seems to read about .3-.5 degrees lower than my other digital thermometer, but consistently reads, just slightly lower than what the other says. (and that one can't read anything besides a human forehead. So id much rather have the versatility to get body temps, and object temps, and have it be low by .3 degrees or something.) Overall - it's awesome. (It even comes with a nice carrying pouch - and you need 2 AAA batteries as well.)

Dual use and seems fairly good
Really simple to operate. I would guess that it's 99% accurate, but as the instructions indicate, the thermometer reading is for reference only. I took several forehead readings and it came back within a range of 97.5 to 97.9. Then I tried measuring the temperature in my refrigerator using the object mode. I have it set for 38 degrees. It read between 37.7 and 39.9. I suspect the variance is due to the distance consistency or lack of between the thermometer and what I was measuring. But rarely did I receive the exact same reading result (although small fluctuations) when taking multiple readings. The one plus of this item, is having the dual mode which make this much more functional than the everyday thermometer. Overall, I'm good with it.

Accuracy and Speed
One of the standout features is its exceptional accuracy. The readings are consistent and reliable, which is crucial when you're concerned about fevers and general health. And speed? It's astonishingly quick! It provides a reading in just seconds, which is a lifesaver, especially when you're trying to take the temperature of a restless child. The ergonomic design of the thermometer ensures that it's comfortable to hold and use. The digital display is backlit and easy to read, even in the dark. It's non-intrusive and comfortable, so much so that my kids don't make a fuss when it's time to take their temperature. This is a significant improvement from our previous, more invasive thermometers.

It's ok.
Got this because of all the good reviews. Bit for me trying to figure it out with the instructions still was a little confusing.Tried it out and my husband and I. We had the same temperature?! Which I guess could be the case. But if I could I would probably buy a different one.
