Weird unpleasant sharp taste. Cannot mix with anything as the taste is horrible and very strong. The taste ruins my coffee or protein shake. Mixes easily with water but have to choke it down. Too expensive not to use it up, so will force myself to use it all before going back to my prior brand.

I have had amazon prime since before prime was cool & I have literally NEVER written a single review BUT I went to re-order this product that I absolutely love & was appalled by the amount of bad reviews!! So here I am, giving my 2 cents to anyone on the fence! I did extensive research on creatine before ever taking it. I've used Thorne brand & one other really high end micronized creatine monohydrate- both gave me tummy issues. Then, I learned about creatine HCL & did a lot of research on that & decided to give it a try- it is very hard to find it in HCL form!! Also, I follow & love JJ Virgin but even still- didn't want to pay the premium price for this product (bc monohydrate is very inexpensive) so I searched & SEARCHED for a quality, affordable Creatine HCL- comparable to this product- let me save you a lot of time- it doesn't exist. THIS IS IT. This is the ONE. It is in the best form & mixed with a few other key ingredients which makes this a really superior product- you kind of can't even compare it to any other creatine product for these reasons. So, for my first order- I signed up through her website & got it on BF sale...which essentially saved me the tax. I HATE paying shipping but I had to through her site & then it took FOREVER to arrive. I tried the product & loved it! No tummy issues & feel a noticeable difference on days I take it versus days I don't AND if you lose sleep for any reason (I have teens & am a caregiver to aging parent...) I double dose the next day & feel perfectly fine on my sleep deprived days!! So I was hooked- and then DELIGHTED to find it on Amazon, where I can get my free prime shipping, speedy delivery AND apply my rewards points! I mix it with 32oz of water with flavored electrolytes & literally don't taste a thing. It dissolves VERY well. Can't say enough good things!

It doesn't mix well in coffee or tea and has a bitter taste. I dissolve it in water, about an ounce, or put it in a shake. The bitter taste is undetected in the shake. When I drink it in an ounce of water I just down it quickly.

I bought a container of this a year ago. I think it was orange flavor and I really really liked it. This time, I got the unflavored to mix in my morning coffee. I took a sip and it tasted horrible, super super sour and I guess bitter is how I would describe it. It left a very, very sticky feeling on my teeth, which I could only interpret as acidic and affecting the outer enamel, I brushed my teeth and chewed gum, and two hours later still really sticky. I also tried putting it in water and the flavor was also very sour. It’s definitely not unflavored and I feel like it would ruin my teeth if I kept drinking it. what the heck is going on? Super bummed.. I like JJ but this is not a good product, at least the unflavored isn’t. Also, my teeth were fine w the orange.

I’m a new fan of this product, and creatine in general. Taste is mild and easy to ignore in water. I didn’t read or experience anything to favor this product over the other one I’ve used. People generally recommend you start creatine with half doses and work your way up the full 5 grams, because of potential GI tract issues. I did this, but did not have any GI issues. I have dry mouth, nose and eyes. My experience with both creatine products is that they make dry mouth a little worse. That’s disappointing, but I appreciate creatine so much that I plan to continue it. The problem with dry mouth is that it adversely affects your mouth and teeth. I get frequent tiny cavities. Talk to your dentist if you have this issue. Not everyone does with creatine. If you already have dry mouth, then you might be like me and it will be a little worse. Creatine is said to help hydrate your cells. I do feel differently hydrated. It’s hard to describe, but there are subtle differences in how much water I drink and how I feel on hot days. If you're considering it, I highly recommend you try it. Not just for body builders. It’s been a great product for me.

Regrettably, the SHEatine Powder caused me to have HEART PALPITATIONS; even though I am healthy and do not have any heart issues. When I stopped using the SHEatine Powder, my heartbeat returned to normal. When I consumed again this week, the heart irregularities returned. How unfortunate (since I respect JJ Virgin's work); and what a waste of my limited funds. So sorry to give this product a poor rating.

I mix this in my morning smoothie to complement my workout routine. I like that it's easy to blend into anything and how it doesn't leave residue in the bottom of the cup. I haven't been using it long enough to know how it works but so far I've experienced no side effects. It has 90 servings so that's enough for 3 months using it once a day. It's priced in the middle so that's a plus if you're on a budget, tho there are others that are cheaper and more popular. The main thing I'm not happy about is the lack of outside testing and that's why I probably wouldn't reorder. 4 stars.
