Great mix of quality, features, and form factor (version: ARZOPA 16.1'' 144Hz)
At an event last year, I saw one of my colleagues using a thin, portable second screen. She was working on her laptop with a document open on the second screen—simple, clean, efficient. I’d never seen one before. I immediately wanted one. The one I got is lightweight, fits in a padded sleeve in my backpack, and plugs in via USB-C. It features physical buttons for brightness, an adjustable stand that supports both portrait and landscape modes, and a crisp resolution. I travel with a 15-inch MacBook Pro, and even that’s not enough real estate sometimes. This second monitor gives me the same joyful efficiency I have at home with two screens—presentation on one, notes on the other; email and calendar on one, documents on the other—but now I can do it anywhere: airport lounges, client offices, coffee shops, hotel desks, meeting rooms, mother’s dining room table, and on and on. I purchased a higher-end model for around $100 because I use it frequently and wanted better image quality. I also got my wife a mid-tier version for around $75. Both work beautifully.

Best little monitor ever
I bought the Arzopa gaming monitor for use with a machine I use as a server, but I've since found many other uses for it -- in fact, I think I may end up getting a second. The first thing is its value -- at the current price, it's amazingly inexpensive. But I also like fact that it covers 106% sRGB, so shows the full range of colors in a standard web photo (but not HDR or the wide gamut spaces). 1080P is fine for a screen this size, and gamers will appreciate the high refresh rate, though per the manufacturer's web page it doesn't have Freesync. It's very light and super thin. That said, the kickstand is thin plastic, so I don't think I'd subject this to hard use, and it can seem a bit precarious at times (though I've never had it fall over). It's a very clever design, though, since it can be used to hold the monitor horizontally or vertically. Power is by USB, so your laptop should be able to power it -- I use standard brick in other applications, just make sure it puts out enough power to meet the manufacturer's spec. Bottom line, it's a really handy device at a great price. The picture shows one of the many uses I've found for it -- as a monitor for our security system. And that, I think, is it's great advantage -- if I need to troubleshoot the server or need a third monitor for my desktop, I just unplug it and carry it to where I need it.

Excellent product to consider
This ARZOPA Z1FC is an excellent product. Several strengths: - 144Hz refresh rate provides good video display in gaming, meeting and streaming playback. - Color depth synchronizes with my MacBook Air display. - It has built-in stand for horizontal and vertical display. - It provides usb4 type c cable and hdmi (mini) cable. - It has great price in previous Spring Sale. - Its weight is light and portable. However, it has improvement areas: - it needs to manually to switch horizontal and vertical display as it has no sensor on its portrait or landscape position. If it may increase the weight to add new sensor, I think lighter is still better. - It has speakers. Though they are clear, you will prefer to use linked laptop or phone for playback.

A great screen for the money
Okay, so I finally caved and got myself a portable monitor, and I'm super happy with the Arzopa 16.1". I was looking for something versatile, and this thing has been amazing. First off, the build quality is seriously impressive. It feels really solid, not flimsy like some other portable monitors I've seen. The materials feel premium, and it just gives you the impression it can handle being tossed in a bag......with appropriate screen protection. And speaking of bags, this thing is light. Seriously, I barely notice it in my backpack. That's a huge plus for me because I'm always lugging around my laptop and other gadgets. It's definitely lighter than some tablets I've owned! Now, the most important thing: the screen. The image quality is fantastic. Colors are vibrant, the picture is sharp, and it's bright enough even when I'm using it outside (though I mostly use it indoors). I was a little worried about ghosting or lag since it's a gaming monitor, but I haven't noticed any issues at all. What really sold me is how versatile it is. I use it with everything! My main setup is with my laptop for work and gaming – it's like having a second monitor wherever I go, which is a game-changer for productivity. But the real fun starts when I hook it up to my Steam Deck. It makes handheld gaming feel so much more immersive. Then there's my PS5. While I usually play on my big TV, sometimes I want to game in another room, and that s screen is perfect for that. And the coolest thing? It even works seamlessly with Samsung Dex on my Samsung tablet. It basically turns my tablet into a mini workstation. So, if you're in the market for a portable monitor that's well-built, lightweight, and has a great screen, I highly recommend checking it out.

Incredible value, amazing monitor for the price (Arzopa 1080p 144hz monitor w/ freesync and HDR)
Let me start out by saying the build quality is phenomenal. The packaging makes it feel like you just dropped at least $300 on this thing. The lightweight build is actually lightweight, the screen is bright and vibrant, the bezels are small, and the device itself is incredibly thin. I'll preface this with one thing- you need need need to get a Viture USB-C adapter with power delivery (yes the one for the XR Glasses) or something similar. It's not required, the screen can work with just power delivery from the device itself- but you'll be sorely missing out. A USB-C adapter with power delivery allows you to take full advantage of the monitors capabilities without sacrificing display features on your PC or console itself ROG Ally connected with the adapter: 1080p 144hz or 120hz w/ FreeSync Variable Refresh rate and HDR in full 30W power mode with the official ROG Ally AC adapter. Just make sure you turn on FreeSync in the monitor's OSD and HDR if you want it. With the Switch: 1. A Nintendo Switch Dock is required if you don't have a USB-C adapter with power delivery 2. I had to turn off the Switch TV power mode settings because this locks the switch if the screen turns off- and it might as you attempt to connect it 3. The connection didn't work at first (at least for me) unless I set the Switch TV Settings resolution mode to 480p before connecting- then switched it back to 1080p once on the screen was visible- BUT 4. Once it works it works! No compromises. Even with the standard Nintendo Switch 5W AC adapter 5. If you don't like that you need the AC adapter I believe you'll just need to find a portable battery with decent hi wattage power delivery. I've read the 20000mah Anker works- I̶'̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶u̶p̶d̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶v̶i̶e̶w̶ ̶o̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶f̶i̶r̶m̶.̶ Can confirm- Anker 20000mah Power bank works! Without an adapter you can still use the screen (not the Switch)- but there will be limitations. I have not thoroughly tested it with the ROG Ally or a different Windows PC but I imagine that if you push the screen too much without some form of external power source it will likely disconnect. This should be expected. The thing is- you'll always need some form of adapter for the devices you connect if they don't have a discrete HDMI out or video out- otherwise you're just draining your laptops battery. It's worth the investment. Other features: Audio - Speakers are nothing to write home about but they get the job done and I'm more than appreciative of that HDR - Again, nothing special- but it does work fine. I'm not super keen on knowing what to look for between SDR and HDR but it does get the job done. 4K / 2K Downscaling - This monitor can support up to 4K resolutions, but downscaled to 1080p. It's great for something like a PS5 or Xbox- consoles that I've found to actually lower graphics settings in some games simply for using 1080p. A good example is Assassins Creed Odyssey, which looks loads better when your console is set to 4K. Refresh Rate - It's no joke. For the first time I can be competitive in Halo Infinite on my ROG Ally. Between free sync and 120hz/144hz picture quality matches my Samsung Odyssey G9. (Side note... would be neat to have an 32:9 portable monitor but I can't imagine that would work without the screen being some sort of foldable) Stand - I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and they must have redone the stand design because it this recent model (As of 3.31.2024) is super sturdy. No separate kick stand you have to carry around- it comes with a long arm that allows you reposition the screen easily depending on the height of the surface the monitor is relative to your eye level. Cables - Includes a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB Type-A to USB-C cable (which I've yet to test), and an HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable. I simply use the USB-C to C cable while connected the Viture USB-C adapter. Warranty - 1 year and can be extended to 2 year with a full refund if issues encountered within 30 days of purchase. If I do have problems I'll update here if the warranty process is a pain. Cons: Honestly- none so far. It does not have a cover so you'll want to order the Arzopa sleeve since the screen is otherwise unprotected. But that's on discount if you purchase the monitor so you can save $4. Overall, this monitor is badass. I will update this review if the device fails or I find issues worth noting. 5 out of 5 stars

Really solid portable monitor, better than I expected
I’ve been using the ARZOPA 16.1” portable monitor and I’m genuinely impressed with it so far. Setup was basically plug and play. I connected it to my laptop and it worked right away without needing to install anything or mess with settings. That alone made it feel very convenient. The screen quality is very good for the price and size. Text looks sharp at 1080p and colors are surprisingly vibrant. It’s not on the level of a high end desktop monitor, but for something portable, it looks clean and easy on the eyes. The 144Hz refresh rate is noticeable, especially when scrolling or doing anything fast paced. Everything feels smoother compared to a standard 60Hz screen. I mainly use it as a second display for work and occasional gaming, and it handles both well. It’s also very lightweight and thin, which makes it easy to move around or pack up. The kickstand works fine and holds its position, although I do wish it felt a little more premium since it’s a bit simple. Overall though, it does exactly what I needed. A portable second screen that is easy to set up, looks good, and performs consistently without issues.

This Monitor Is perfect!
I never heard of this brand before but after reading the reviews and doing my research Im very happy with my purchase. It was easy to set up, comes with All the cables you need for your phone, tablet or laptop. This is a super thin and lightweight monitor which really makes it portable and fit in any laptop sleeve as long as it's over 16 inches. After adjusting it for about 10 to 15 minutes I was able to get the brightness and resolution perfect to how I wanted it. The picture is really sharp especially when playing older games upscale to 1080p. I was able to test the 144 Hertz while playing a game of fortnite and it functions perfectly. Going through the menus was easy and simple.i honestly don't see a better deal then this.

A life changing item for on the go gaming/work, a great companion for handheld PCs!
Amazing overall! The monitor picture is crisp, I honestly was expecting a "temu" quality. Reaches 120hz (I don't have a device that runs 144 so couldn't test it) flawlessly. The monitor build quality AND kickstand is great as well, it's metal and has a nice click whenever you put it away, it's comparable to the Switch OLED in that regard. Very easy to set up with the 3 included cables. It exceeded my expectations. The size is great, super thin just like the ads! Only critique, and it's probably because of the slim form is the speakers are decent quality but VERY quiet. I use this for a second screen for my ROG Ally, and the max volume is probably less then half. It's nearly unusable unless you're in complete silence. I went back to the stock Ally speakers. I recommend headphones.

Excellent portable screen with surprisingly good customer service!
I bought this as a secondary screen for my setup and to use with my Steam Deck, and it has been fantastic. The 144Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth, the screen is incredibly lightweight, and the colors are solid for the price point. I had a minor technical question after buying, and their customer service team was fast, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure I was looked after. Highly recommend if you need a budget-friendly, high-performance portable monitor!
