It came with a certificate and in Mitutoyo packaging box. Wrapped in the usual anti corrosive paper inside a plastic bag. Slightly oiled. High accuracy stands to the Mitutoyo name. Both sides are mirror shining finish. Amazing and astonishing quality.

Was expecting non measuring faces to be nominal 30.0mm x 9.0mm as in the description and in the Mitutoyo catalog. My thickness measured 8.9mm rather than 9.0. Disappointing from a company like Mitutoyo.
