Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods: (A PERCY JACKSON ADVENTURE): 6

I've missed reading Percy Jackson so much. This is a wonderful addition to the series, and I can't wait to read the next two books. This book is really wholesome and incredibly sweet, too. I really felt for Ganymede because you realise that at the end of the day, he was kidnapped, forced to become immortal, and will be Zeus' cupbearer forever. Poor guy gotta feel for him. I'd read a whole book about him tbh, I can't believe it hasn't been written yet. The whole fight with Geras lowkey made me tear up, too. I forgot how high stakes all the previous books were, and Percy embracing old age and actually looking forward to it was sweet. It's a privilege to grow old as a demigod, and him imagining his future with Grover and Annabeth was cute as hell. Also, Annabeth having fans is so real. I expect nothing less from her. In fact, I'd be first in line for an Annabeth meet and greet. I love her so much. Poseidon needs to piss off, though. I can't stand him. I dislike him quite a lot, but I guess he has some redeeming qualities. It's just so crazy and unfair to me that he has to go through so much just to get into a good uni. Percy really can't catch a break the poor guy 😭

My 10 year old Grandson loved it. That makes value for money to me.

I really enjoyed this. I know Percy Jackson is technically for younger readers, but honestly sometimes that is exactly the point. It’s fast, funny, warm and much easier to sink into than something trying desperately to be serious and important. What I liked most was how easy it was to be back with Percy. The voice is still funny and slightly chaotic, and the book has that lovely mix of mythology, friendship and ridiculous danger that makes the series so readable. It doesn’t feel like a forced return either. It has the same energy that made the earlier books work, but with a slightly more grown-up feeling around the edges. The quest itself is fun, and I liked that it felt a bit smaller and more personal rather than trying to be the end of the world every five minutes. There’s something quite nice about spending time with characters you already like without everything needing to be enormous and exhausting. It’s not a book I’d suggest starting with if you’re new to Percy Jackson, because a lot of the pleasure comes from already knowing the characters and the world. But if you’ve read the others, this is a really enjoyable return. Funny, comforting, quick to read and properly entertaining. I had a very good time with it.

My 11 year old is obsessed with these books I love that he can’t put it down at night and just wants to keep reading !! He rather read these then use any iPad game changer !!! He loves the stories the characters !

Our son is loving the Percy Jackson series of books. He’s barely put it down since it arrived. A very good sign for a 10 year old. Would highly recommend.

O livro e muito lindo😊, chegou rápido, a história e envolvente, achei meio bobinho, mas condiz com a idade de recomendação, estava com saudades do meu casal preferido, eu preferiria se tivesse 1 livro sobre esses problemas e outro fosse de outra coisa q ele fez quando chegasse na universidade.
