I kept my boy in the big collar that he came home from the vet for 2 days and then put this more comfortable cone on my boy after his surgery. He’s pretty chill and lazy, but I still couldn’t believe it lasted two weeks. I had to blow it up a couple of times but it was great! It also served as a little pillow when he napped. It did the job of keeping him from messing with his sutures, and despite he and his sister play fighting a lot, it didn’t get punctured or torn up.I got the XL for my dog who weighs 100 pounds. Fit great.If I ever need another one, I will definitely buy again. Highly recommend. Plus my boy looked so handsome in his suit cone.

Our boy recently had surgery so we purchased this item to replace an old one we had. It is exactly what it says and more. It is so soft and a larger diameter around than our old one of the same size which was exactly what we needed so he couldn’t reach his stitches.

Does not work for it's intended purpose!!! My black lab was able to easily still reach his stitches and lick them open, now I have to take him back to the vet. If you are trying to keep your pet from getting to their wound THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK! It's a shame because it was very easy to find the proper size, set up and use, and it allowed my dog to be able to see further, drink and eat, which was the reason I didn't like the cone given by the vet. Unfortunately it doesn't matter how well made a product is if it doesn't perform it's original function.

Got this a week or so prior to the surgery, tested to make sure it could be inflated, but didn't blow it all the way up. Day of the surgery, filled it up and took it with me to the vet. Within the hour, it was half deflated. Added more air when I got home, same result. Couldn't hear or see leak, so I removed the inflatable from the cover and filled the cover with a pieces of a rolled foam mattress pad sheet. All in all, the remodeled donut seems to do the job with the added bonus that it can't be popped by his kennel or his brother. But, it wasn't cool to have an emergency scavenger hunt at home in the two hours between dropping the dog off for surgery and picking him up again.

Not only does this work well because of the collar insert, but it also gave us plenty of entertainment! The dog actually liked his cone and would take naps with it on using it as a nice pillow. This is so much better than the cone of shame cones and way more comfortable. He could easily eat and drink and get around the house.

This adorable inflatable donut attaches to a regular collar for the perfect, comfortable, and stable fit. It worked out very well for my yorkie's recovery from cryptorchid neuter surgery. He really did not mind wearing it, it was the perfect size to keep him from fussing over his stitches (without impeding movement), and he looked adorable in it. The device is easy to set up and inflate, and seems to be quite durable. Overall, a great alternative to the "cone of shame" for a small dog.
