For the money this dashboard camera is very good. Would recommend it for first time use as it was for me. Would not be afraid to get another one as a gift for someone.

I received the car camera as a gift. It failed after two weeks and would not recharge by either method. I sourced a replacement, this time through Amazon. On arrival I found once again the camera was faulty and did not work. When switched on the screen was blank and not showing any image. Both menu & mode buttons did not work Itek I67001 Slimline HD Car Camera with Motion Detection - Black

Havent actually had the chance to try it yet because car has been in the garage

Unit would not charge up internal battery tried through usb connections from laptop and then alternative usb charger. Unit will not operate until first initial charge so had to return device but my daughter has an Itek and it works a treat, so may be just the odd fault

The camera worked fine but the connector fell apart when unplugged from the car socket and they do not see to sell replacements. It needs the special shaped plug in as USB is only for another purpose.

Burning smell as soon as it was plugged in. Then red power light went out
