Nice cables, but not 1 AWG
UPDATE: I reached out to the seller and had a good interaction. They were kind and responsive, and ultimately took quick steps to resolve the issue for me.The good:They are flexible, they measure 20' 4", they do use pure copper stranded wire (not copper clad aluminum), and the clamps are decent. The insulation is thick and tough. The bad:I cut one end off to add my own quick terminals. I found the conductors are nowhere close to advertised 1 AWG.American Wire Gauge spec for "1 gauge" is a diameter of 0.289"Carefully using calipers, and being generous, I measured less than 0.2"I was also able to slip *all* of the wire into a 6 AWG ring terminal! So these are likely closer to 4 AWG.This can make a difference, especially on long cables.Voltage drop at 350 amps, 12 volts, and 20' length:With 1 AWG: 15%With 4 AWG: 29%These cables look and feel heavy duty, but the specs are incorrect at the time of this writing.I'm sure they work fine for batteries that are just a little low. And if you have a good battery and the time to wait, you can use these to simply charge one battery from another, but that is not jump starting.

Too long for quick Junp start!
These are great cables if you can not get the jump vehicles close to each other. If the vehicle used to jump does not have a high output alternator, you will be in for a 10 minute or more jump. It will take that long to transfer the energy into the dead battery! I am thinking about shorting my cables? The cables are great, no heating up, they are just too long to carry the amperage. The clamps are OK, however they could be heavier. The clamp handle covers are the biggest short fall of the whole thing!! They do not stay on, after one use I had to use zip ties to secure them! Thinking about about trying an adhesive?

Absolute five star! I've been looking for a set of cables like this for YEARS!
These cables are incredible! The weight, somewhere over 10lbs, the quality of the jacketing and the termination of the copper into the clamps are all quite impressive. I would venture to say that the only way they could improve these cables is running the conductor to the teeth, but even then, these cables and the ruggedness of the clips makes that mostly unnecessary. These cables are going to last me for a VERY long time and are TOTALLY worth the $100 investment. As a retired first responder and roadside service technician, having good jumper cables is an essential aspect when responding to my incidents. The one situation I can think of when I needed these is when I jump-started a semi who was sitting on the side of the road partially blocking traffic. Due to the jumper cable sizes, it took two vehicles to generate enough current to turn the engine over fast enough to start it. I know this example is unusual (unless you own a semi) but the statement stands that these are genuinely high duty cables and completely worth the price. I would expect them to be able to start just about anything I connect them to within just a few minutes if not almost instantaneously. Do yourself a favor, buy these jumper cables, save yourself the time, sometimes in unsafe conditions, waiting on the side of the road for the battery to charge to be able to start the stranded car and be on your way.

Super Extra Heavy Duty 1-Gage
I bought the Xincol Extra Heavy Duty Booster Cables to have a good heavy duty set of booster cables for jumping cars with dead batteries. We have three cars and there is always one from time to time that needs a jump. These cables are amazing with 1-Gage copper wire size compared to others that have aluminum wiring or are much-much smaller gage copper wiring and they are a full 20 feet long. The 1-Gage copper wire size and the 20 foot length does make them very heavy compared to my other cheap light cables, but its well worth it to get some real extra heavy duty cables. They come with a nice nylon carrying case and there is even include a set of cloth gloves to keep your hands from getting dirty when you are jump starting a car. The battery clamps with these cables have good strong springs and nice teeth for making good contact with battery posts. I haven’t had a chance to use them yet but these are so heady duty that I am sure that they will work better than any cables that I have ever had.

Poor voltage transfer
The jumper cables did not work. I replaced them with another set and the recipient vehicle started perfectly but the Xincol cables did not transfer the voltage properly to the receiving vehicle.I thought that the fact that these were 100% copper and rated for 2500A would mean that they would transfer the voltage well to the receiving vehicle but they did not. I replaced them with a set of heavy duty cables that were copper clad aluminum and 5 feet longer than these cables and the receiving vehicle started right up. I even tried to remove the dead battery of the receiving vehicle but these cables did not work.I don't believe the 2500A rating. The cables that worked were half the price of these cables

Be wary!
We used these per directions (and we've jump started many cars in the past) and within 2 minutes they melted all over both engines and my husband got burned as he tried to remove the melted handles off the battery connections. We are lucky that we acted quickly and prevented a fire.

Quick delivery, high quality.
I had a jumper cables before, which was cheaper but short and got hot quickly. After reading customer reviews, I think this is the right one I should have. So far I am very happy with these cables, especially impressed about its fast delivery. They are very well made with high quality, very heavy duty, and complete thick gauge copper wire. Also the clamps are very strong, which work well for side posts and top posts. So if you want the best, these are them.By the way, 20 foot cable length will allow you to go battery-to-battery in varied situations and saved me a lot of hassle. I love it.

The wire is actually .25 inch diameter, 2 Gauge, 2 AWG and has very thick insulation.
The wire is actually .25 inch diameter, 2 Gauge, 2 AWG and has very thick insulation. I am using this as wire in a dual battery setup. I cut the clamps off and used 2 Gauge wire lugs to cap the ends (1 Gauge lugs were too large). The wire will work for my purpose and overall product feels very durable.

High high quality
These puppies (Heavy Duty Gauge Jumper Cables) are suitable for higher voltage, say for a truck or SUV. I'm sure they could be used in heavier applications. The clamps are comfortable and bite well, making for good contact between electronics, I would not want to get my finger pinched in the clamp for sure. The cable is well insulated and easy to maneuver. Mist also say that these jumper cables are much heavier in weight than the usual smaller cables that I am used to working with, but that is ok, they are easy to store and come with a bag that is not too small to store the cables in, in other words, the bag is the perfect size for these.

SIMPLY EXCELLENT
Super cables for cold Canadian winters and stay extremely flexible when it was cold. Expensive but well worth it.

dissapointed
this product would not even jump start a small 4 liter engine. I guess now all i have is a little bit of scrap copper. Very big waste of money, stay away from there product

The spec is not accurate!
The seller says it is gauge 1 and cable has section area of 42 mm2.I bought the cable and I did my own measurement. The copper conductor's section area is about 20 mm2 instead. So, this should be a AWG 4 cable.(google AWG size, then you will find the info).I do not believe this is honest mistake.Shame to the people who deliberately misrepresent this item.
