Rich and bright
I am a fan of Japanese watercolours as they have the consistency of Gouache and watercolour paint together. These arrived yesterday and I used wet and dry wash to test the different colours. They work really well wet on wet and wet on dry. They did not dry too quickly which allowed me to spread the colour over the paper. Colours are bright and there is a good coverage. I also tried them with aqua markers (water based blender pens) and artist quality water paints - success every time.The paintings have dried well and the brightness and richness of colour has remained. They may seem expensive but they are artist quality.
