Just received this TEMCo 20-liter stainless steel can today. Very impressed right off the bat.Build quality is very good. All hardware, from the side handles, to the lid handle, and even the pivot pins on the latches, is puddle-welded (not spot-welded) to the sides of a heavy-gauge container. The lid seal is odorless food-grade silicone. Two latches suffice to close the lid air-tight.Look around at the less-expensive versions of this can made by other manufacturers -- most of them are made of 1mm thick metal. This TEMCo piece is made from 2mm-thick metal. Quite a few of the others have spot-welded parts which are unlikely to hold up during regular use or over the long term.I did note that there are some exposed/open seams on the outside of the vessel. (See photos.) I think these would have a tendency to collect dirt/grime/food substances etc. over time. I plan to fill them in with a high-grade clear silicone sealant. I don't think the seams affect functionality or durability in any way.I will return to this review and add updates every few years regarding long-term durability.

Been using this bucket now for over a week and it's awesome. This thing is heavy because it's heavy duty. Spend the extra money on this and you will never have to replace. The lid locks tight and seals perfectly. We haul our milk from barn to house with this and it never leaks. Lock the lid down and use the handle on top of it with no worries. I don't leave reviews much but this product is worthy of one.

I love the look and feel of this container. We make maple syrup and I am looking forward to using this for drawing off our finished syrup to keep it air tight until bottling. I will be ordering a few more.

I'm always skeptical about buying online without seeing the product first hand. I was not disappointed in the quality of this can; it did exceed my expectations.

Probably the only way to avoid Estrogenically Active Plastics like BPA AND Plastic Additives that can be potentially more harmful. No more weird plastic taste in my filtered water refills from Whole Foods like with "BPA Free" containers. Definitely worth the price.

The mik can is working just fine for what we want to use it for.

I have ten of the 50 liter tanks but needed something a little smaller. These things are made unbelievably well. I cannot imagine them ever wearing out. Everything is made super well.

These are high quality. I use it to transport the oil for one of those portable fryers I use to make French fries at cookouts and camping trips. you don't have to wait for the oil to cool off all the way
