I was looking for a receiver-mounted recovery point, and this did not disappoint. Very heavy-duty and perfect for attaching a recovery strap. Won't need to use often, but will be nice to have when needed.

This hitch fits the 2" receiver perfectly and provides a rock-solid connection for towing/pulling. It is a heavy and solid hunk of metal. The cool thing too is that you can install with the shackle oriented horizontally or vertically for maximum versatility. Great to have as my truck has so few other spots to hook up a tow chain.

Looks/works great

I drag downed - dead trees on my property to be bucked out and limbed. Often, I have to drag them up to 75 yards to get to a clearing and have to navigated around other trees and navigate uneven ground. I use an aggressive trunk cinch chain and was looping the hook end over a tow ball on my class 3 hitch. I know better now, NEVER drag anything with a tow ball, the ball is not designed for that kind of lateral stress. Watched a good YouTube video and saw this kind of D-ring set up and the explanation made so much sense to me. I turn the D-ring vertically and it swings freely L/R and allows the cinch chain to articulate as well in that direction. Not to mention the increased safety. This is a heavy-duty item, and I see no issues with it. I did remove the little plastic cover over the D-ring as it will only get destroyed in my usage.
