Does this work with the PS5?

Yes, it should work with a PS5. It will work with anything that uses an HDMI cable. The capture card has 1 HDMI in port and 1 HDMI out port and a USB port to go to your computer. I currently use this with my Xbox. I would recommend this capture card.

The video is good quality, but seems to be jerky or studder. Does anyone know how to stop that?

If you are seeing Jerky or Stuttering then your Processor might be maxing out and it is dropping frames. Most capturing software will tell you if you are dropping frames. If you are on a Windows machine you can check your Processes to see how much CPU usage is being used by the software. if it is near 100% then you either A: have too many things running or B: your processor cant handle the capture card at your resolution. try lower the resolution or Bit Rate.

In the "Additional details" section of the product description, it was mentioned in the end: 🌈 Packing List: 🎀 1x4K USB3.0 HDMI Audio Video Capture Card 🎀 1xUSB 3.0 cable 🎀 1 x HDMI Cable 🎀 1 x User Manual (I have copy pasted what was written there) I DID NOT RECEIVE THE HDMI CABLE IN THE BOX (Note: I have not used the product since an accessory was missing. I had to apply for replacement. So I can't comment about product's functionality)
