Sure, a huge credit is due to the author for exposing the atrocities committed by the Russian invaders. However, that's about the only positive thing I could say about the book.It's poorly written, the language is dry and unimaginative, overcharged with unnecessary details that serve "à rien", and even any trace of suspense is lacking before the last 10 pages or so.Mr. Levy's research approach is more than negligent; in our day and age, when within 1 minute one might look up the most common Ukrainian first and last names, the author doesn't even bother to do that leaving us with such nonsensical stuff as "Malik", "Cosima" or "Stefan" (there are no "Stefans" in Ukraine but only "Stepans").Again, noble intention but very sub-quality execution.
