Looks expensive, feels supple; however, poor construction of the handles / straps--had to pay extra to stitch a strap
Purchased this bag in black a few months ago. I needed a light weight back pack, one that looks elegant. The bag fit the bill, however, after only three wearings, one of the handles / straps ripped out of the seam completely. The straps were thinner than in the newer pictures. The bag wasn't over-stuffed and I am pretty gently with my bags. I've had to bring it in to get it stitched, which cost $8.00. I'd have done it myself but my needle wouldn't have been sturdy enough to get through the material.Very disappointing to have my bag be out of commission and have to spend more money on it to put it to use.The pictures I've seen recently on the site seem to have a newer reconstruction of the handles. They appear to be a bit wider apart as well as thicker for a more cushioned comfort. Perhaps previous buyers had a similar bad experience as I. The plus is that the bag looks more expensive than it is.
