Can you use it on grey painted alloy wheels

Yes. I used it on my grey BMW wheels.

Is this safe to use or get on braking components disc etc.

Over spray on the dics and pads wont do any harm as its soon clears when driving. I would recommend you only do one wheel at a time and give a good wash off once done..

Will it also dissolve my new tarmac drive?

I wouldn’t think so, but I can’t guarantee it.
