This pen was better than the one that accompanied the metal tester. Highly recommend and will definitely re-order when time is due for the new one.

I paid full price because I needed one, and it is on sale now, so that is a bit disappointing. Works well, will detect if base metals present (need to file through past any GP). Tip gets dark quick, save for higher karat testing is my practice. Positive- saved me thousands by not buying fakes.
