I'm very sensitive to so many additives but this doesn't seem to bother me. It mixes well and I think it tastes really good even alone. You can add flavors like vanilla or strawberry extracts etc. or just any kind of fruit to flavor if you're making smoothies. It's a yes for me:)

I have a lot of food allergies and am also allergic to pork. I was really happy to find a collagen powder that was beef and only beef. They have other versions, but I'm allergic to some of those ingredients. My boyfriend tried this in plain water and in a smoothie. He did taste it in the water, which I warned him against trying that way. It foams up similar to how protein powder would. He said he couldn't taste it in the smoothie. The water mixture wasn't his favorite. I do think this is pure protein as the appearance in the smoothie was similar to when I add tahini or rice protein. I think it's just more finely ground; as if you read the instructions it says that it's made to be easier to blend.

Funny taste … smells like throw up

Didn’t try much of this. The label was a cheap paper like from a home printer, seal was barely on and the contents did not resemble any collagen I have ever seen. Not semi-coarse like most kinds, more powdery and almost fibrous with some string like hairs in it. Nervous to try.
