what are the dimensions - picture shows 3x3 but description says 3x8?

They are 3x8. When you open package the bandage is folded over on top of each other . Easy to separate

They are 3" width and 8" long only 24 total but you can cut to make more depending on size of wound

Is the material a polyester gauze

No is real thin with an oily substance on it.. Great for large wounds and can be left on up to 3 days before changing it..my uncle scraped his skin off deep and this is what they put on it in the emergency room... healed quickly all you need..
