It is smaller than expected but great for my elderly Bichon Frise with cataracts. You need to go bigger for a dog bigger than 7.5kg. She hadn't been eating and I wasn't sure if it was the new food from the vet or her struggling to access her food in her regular bowl. This has worked a treat and I highly recommend, just check your sizing!

I bought this mainly to use in my puppy pen to avoid tipping the water while I'm at work. I also used this during feeding. I like the rubber that is under the stainless steel bowl to prevent it from moving when she eats. I got the small. It does hold 1/8 - 1/4 cup (the pic shows 1/8 cup of food in bowl). The silicone pads underneath the bowl does prevent slippage. Great product and well made.

My dog was having trouble cleaning out the sides of his bowl. This really helps with that. The removable metal bowl makes preparation and clean up easy, but it is very lightweight and flimsy, I doubt it will last long especially for the price paid. it would be better to be made of heavier gauge.
